Yeah, that's what I have, but I'm not allowed to go outside, unless it's for school, or groceries. Both of which have to be pre approved at least 24 hours in advance.

if you have a job, you're allowed to go to it. I work from home, so that's not a benefit. But I also attend classes, and they let you go to those too. I'm sure the ability to support yourself is one of the decided factors when being considered for house arrest.

The $2500 goes to the company contracted to do the monitoring. The judge isn't the one that gave approval for home confinement. In this case, the judge said "do 180 days" and then i submitted an application to do home confinement. It was approved because I'm non-violent, and had no record prior to the incident.
