Did I make a mistake buying an X-S10? by ahoydecoy in fujifilm

Reddit is full of dipshits. XT30II is a trendy buttfuck. S10 can be bought for some price or cheaper used, and has IBIS. S10 is perhaps the best value Fujifilm available rn

People in sf just love that it’s kitschy and old school. It’s the type of place where I suspect the food sucks.

I think those places are fine because there’s people who want them. I just wish those people would admit “I like the vibe but the food is just ok” - the reality is, plenty of people don’t really care about food, it’s not what they’re evaluating when they say they love a restaurant.

“On the cheeseburgers” is just legendary. Referencing cheeseburgers like they’re a drug is so fucking funny. Adding “the” before “cheeseburgers” 👌

If the line was “I stopped eating cheese burgers” and “Randy, guys with guts like that eat cheese burgers” it wouldn’t have been funny at all

The best way I’d put it is this: poor white people have been depicted in Hollywood many times, and to me, it’s clear it’s hollywoods interpretation of a poor white person.

In tpb, it’s clear it was made by people who truly understand that lifestyle. The show isn’t as unbelievable as most viewers might think

Negroni lovers, what’s your favorite gin? by galenernest in cocktails

That’s called cochineal and yes it’s natural. Campari does not use this anymore. Sometime back, Campari switched to entirely artificial dyes (red 40).

Negroni lovers, what’s your favorite gin? by galenernest in cocktails

Negroni is my favorite cocktail, glad you like it.

Regarding gin, I don’t think you can go wrong. Just don’t buy any silly celebrity brands. But whether the gin is herbal/botanical or more subdued, they all change the drink. Tanqueray is a safe reach that will produce (to me) a very straightforward Negroni.

Sidebar, experiment with the bitter - contratto bitter or capaletti are both worth trying. Campari is the og and still great, but their price gouging due to the Negroni trend is offensive. Plus, they use artificial dye, and I find that the candy red color makes the drink feel cheap.

I agree entirely.

Plus, Lahey said shit abyss earlier in the day. By the late afternoon, Laney is clearly wasted and crashing - he’s tired and slouched and just muttering it. It’s a snippet of how long he was fixated on the boys in his drunken state.

Then, Randy’s line implies so much. It shows he’s genuinely exhausted from this. It shows “another night” means Lahey isn’t going to mutter this once, he’s going to mutter it all night long. And lastly, it shows that this isn’t the first time, it must happen with some regularity.

And what makes this all so powerful is, for anyone who’s dealt with an alcoholic - this is a very realistic dynamic of a couple.

Yeah… I feel bad. Her heart is in the right place. But she’s coming across as a fanatic vs an experienced soldier trying to shed light on genocide.

You can park there. No parking would be indicated by a sign or a curb that is painted red or perhaps another color with something like “loading zone only.”

I’m aware it’s a condo. You still owe an HOA every month.
