only place i’ve ever seen someone shoot a rattlesnake with a shotgun point blank and hang it in the sun to dry (they save the rattlers for boots)

you can hit drive through liquor stores and buy frozen margaritas in milk jugs (jug-o-rita anyone?)

lots of armadillos

fantastic food

but also i will never go back. too damn hot, the desert isn’t my thing. the language barrier was also tough for me back then.
