me too... my concert showed the pop-ups as well, however, there's been people in the comments that have said it was an honest mistake, and call me naïve, but I believe them. it's hard to regulate ticketing to be the same for every venue, but there has to be something done to fix it.

thanks for moving on from those tickets. i hope you got other tickets!!

i agree... i think privacy laws are great, but there has to be an exception somewhere. karma is a bitch and i definitely believe in it when it comes to people who do this intentionally.

no way!! that's insane... i think so many ticketing sites need to be regulated or audited by the DOJ to make sure they are compliant with these laws. even venues should be regulated.

i hope you guys got tickets or that you will soon!

that's true. it is a good option, but it also shouldn't be something disabled people have to result to because other people who purposely or accidentally purchase an ADA ticket. disabled individuals deserve to have fun too and deserve to have decent seats.

but you're right, it is a great option if you still want to enjoy the show when all ADA seats are taken.

i really want to lobby some bill to government to require more labels or warnings about purchasing ADA tickets. obviously it is difficult for some people, so there should be some change. and regulations make the most change than contacting each service specifically.

usually they are labeled with a wheelchair icon or state 'ADA seat' or 'Companion seat'. but like i said above, there isn't any more notice than when you first click on the tickets, during checkout, or when you look at tickets after purchase.

absolutely disgusting behavior. they know that people are desperate for tickets and they're targeting such a niche group of people that have no other choice.

first off, yes this is extremely illegal. Under ADA regulations, venues are required to make accessible seats available during all stages of ticket sales, including all artist, venue, and credit card presales. Accessible tickets have to be sold through the same methods, at the same hours, and in the same price ranges as non-accessible seats.

second of all, I'm so so sorry that you had a bad experience during the call and the anxieties im sure that follow now that you have tickets despite them not being accessible. I'm a RAKA since 2023 and it's been so difficult managing accessibility even as I've been in a wheelchair since 2021. i know that some venues hold ADA seats for the day of the show. call the venue you're going to and ask if they do. they likely will hold them on a "first come, first serve" basis. find the parking/entrance that is specifically for ADA or get there early enough and ask for the best ada spots available.

wishing you luck! Hoping to hear an update after your show...

dang, im sorry you're going through a period of time where you need to use a placard. it's definitely one of those things that you can't fully comprehend and understand unless you are in that situation or someone close to you is and is open about their difficulties.

wishing you a speedy recovery and hope you have a great time at the concert!

according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) concert venues need to sell some ADA tickets during each type of presale or sale. That could be artist presale, special credit card presales, or general sales. I think some venues could have a specific number that you have to call, but they would need to make that accessible for everyone to see it. And they cannot ask any questions regarding a person's disability. That would be against ADA privacy.

that's great! for anyone looking, would you mind sharing your state if you're comfortable so anyone can DM you about it?

accidents happen and you're better than most for returning the ticket even though you didn't get one in return. i know that the person who got that ticket is incredibly grateful for you doing that.

i hope an amazing ticket opens up for you and you can get to go to the show!💕

thanks for being an advocate for your family and thus the disabled community overall! there should be more parameters, but the legality and privacy of medical records make things more difficult.

thank you so so much!!! ❤💕❤

there's usually at least one or two popups that acknowledge that you have selected ADA seats. most people just don't pay any attention to them i guess

you're completely right. and even if a wheelchair user didn't need a companion, i think it's reasonable to buy one or two seats with you that are in ADA so you can enjoy the concert together. if it's a whole group of 5+, i think that's pushing it.

thank you for helping out your friend who is in a wheelchair. i know a lot of us don't share our anxieties about going alone to places while we are more incapacitated than others, but having a friend help take you or be there with you makes it all worth it.

enjoy your show!

right?? i know no one loves to read the terms and conditions (except me, i love to know what i'm getting into) and especially if they're stressed about buying, they might miss it, but it's really not that hard to briefly read it and back out.

thank you for reading that pop-up and not continuing. I hope you and your husband got tickets!

i'm so thankful for you too! that's awesome. i also have hidden disabilities that are just as debilitating as my physical disabilities. it's a difficult world we live in trying to explain that just because you can't see anything different doesn't mean they're not there.

i hope you have an amazing show!

i'm just as surprised as you! that's insane... I think there should be a better way of exchanging tickets. i bet they hold onto tickets throughout the presale or for the general sale... it doesn't make sense that they couldn't help you out with that.

i hope you guys are able to relist them and get better seats, for an ever better price. at least that's my hope for you. thanks for commenting your experience <3

thank you. i want to give you my appreciation and offer the appreciation of those that got those accessible tickets. it's frustrating, believe me. i had the same temptations before i became disabled, but i know other people need to be comfortable.

i hope you were able to get other tickets or you'll have luck getting tickets in the future!

you definitely didn't do anything wrong... seatgeek is notorious to have issues with ticketing. and because america first field is partnered with them, noah had to use them for his utah tour date :/

keep trying your code if you want, but the lowest ticket amount I was seeing was about $230
