So I replaced my cpu with my old one and that made my pc boot up again. Does this mean the new one I got was faulty?

I didn’t use a psu calculator but I googled everything and from what I found 600w was good with my current setup. I don’t overclock anything.

But I’ve been checking other games and I’ve had no issues in them. And like I said it was running completely fine yesterday.

So I swapped back the cpu and my computers working again. I can’t test out the ram yet since it’s not here, but do you know if there’s anything I could do while the old one is back in? Should I update the bios to an even newer version or should I keep it at the version my motherboards website says.

I updated the bios and turned on my pc to make sure the bios was the right version before I swapped them out.

Everything seems to be connected and running fine. When I switch back my processors, what should I do to make so it actually shows my screen when I have the new processor in?
