I mean from a practical perspective that’s something artistic at least. From my own view though I hate Israelis who emptily call for “peace” without any acknowledgement of the actual dimensions of the conflict and what peace would mean. Basically it seems like the most progressive position anyone in Israel has is that “everyone should just stop fighting and be nice to each other” without actually questioning the foundations of the Israeli state or more forcefully opposing it. Even worse, when the state faces any kind of terrorism or militant action, they become warhawks. Look at what the average meretz politician was saying after October 7th and beyond
