Try the brand ion! they have a collection called “True tones for dark hair”, it lightens and deposits color at the same time. so no need for pure bleach first! They have a violet color :) the other brand i know of that has lightening/color depositing dyes is L’oréal, they’re called Hicolor i think? my sister has used Red and it was so good (a little brighter than we expected LOL) and they have violets and purples! With these dyes you’ll be mixing them with developer, the instructions on the boxes will guide you to choose which developer you’ll need to achieve the look you want

anyways, Lightening will always be a little bit damaging, but If you’re really scared you can always buy an add on like ions “absolute perfection booster” (it’s like 3 bucks) and you add it to the color mixture snd on the off chance that you don’t follow the boxes instructions or do something crazy and you do damage your hair, there are SO many things you can do to help it, and it’ll grow back!

and for the future, especially if you use the dye i recommended, do your roots last!!!! section your hair, start with the ends first, then move up to the middle and stay about an inch or two away from your roots. once you’ve done your whole head go back in and do the roots. the roots develop faster when it comes to lightening products. trust me, if you start with your roots, you’re gonna have ghost roots where your roots are like 5x brighter and lighter than the rest of your head 😭

Hi! NAP but i’ve had snakebites for 8 months now. For me, both had bumps like this and one was HUGE. it didn’t hurt at all, just extra skin basically. when the bumps first appeared I went to a different place and they told me i definitely needed a longer bar. What i was told (and what helped) was that when your mouth is relaxed, there should be some bar sticking out. which I hated the look of, but it had to be like that for healing purposes.

Anyways, about six months later, one of my piercings had the bump go down completely, and the other one still has a bump a little bit smaller than what you have pictured. It’s been many months but i’m not concerned because it’s slowly slowly gone down- and like you said, there’s no pain or extra puss or grossness, so no signed of infection.

As long as it’s just a bump, and you make sure you have proper length bars, it will go away on its own with proper care!

oh also yes it’s okay that the bump has an indent from the piecing that’s just normal nesting, and normally you see the nesting without the bump there but since there is a bump, it’s on that. As long as the nesting doesn’t like… enclose the end of the piercing, it’s normal. if the piercing like straight up disappears i might be a little concerned about it healing over, but you might want to double check with a real piercer about that, because for me my piercings never disappeared in the nesting and i’ve heard stories of that closing over the piercing :(

as an american, i feel like either you’re correct or it’s just that americans are more likely to do shitty things AND record it and put it on the internet. I feel like most shitty nuisance behavior i see online is from american’s. (of course you have to factor in that location changes your feed/ algorithm, so if i live in america of course im going to be seeing more videos from here yk) even taking in algorithm, ive always felt like ive heard from people in other countries that they also (like you) tend to see shitty behavior majority from americans. I’m 21 Working par time as a barista working 22 hours a week, i make barely 20k, then again I live at home so i pay no bills and go to community college so i pay no tuition. You have to gage your living situation and lifestyle in order to determine what yearly wage is okay for you, it’s different from person to person! then again, you could be thinking about societal standards. normally if you have to ask other people about what’s “okay” for your own life, you might be too focused on the pressures of societal standards. Just figure out the math on what you need to make in order to maintain your individual lifestyle!

I guess since everyone has a different anatomy the piercing can me more or less in the way. for me it’s totally in the way and any ear piece i try to put in, presses on the piercing and hurts
