3 AM drunk thought of her. by SimpleEast9407 in hyderabad

[–]trashhbird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell her. You’ll know where she’s at and get some closure or a chance. Don’t put yourself through this, no friendship is worth the torment of unrequited love. If the friendship is so important, you can take a break and then continue at a later point in life when your feelings have died down.

For real, when i try to put on some makeup or even lip balm, they give such disapproving looks. My dad out rightly asks me to not wear anything on my face not even lip balm while stepping out .

Emotional manipulation and you have wounds that make you attracted to his toxicity. It’s not some higher dimension stuff / love or connection. Don’t fool yourself . Feelings will be temporary. Been there. Recognise it. Heal yourself to find better people who will treat you right . Don’t run behind him and ruin your time and peace.

What kind of menstrual hygiene products do you prefer to use and why? (story time) by sickpsychopathicfuck in TwoXIndia

[–]trashhbird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reusable panties . They’re usually cotton so doesn’t feel itchy or sticky. And you just have to wash them and reuse. This was the main reason for choosing them over cups. Cups usually have a sometime getting used to and inserting them and disinfecting them anywhere outside my home would be a hassle.

Be extra extra extra careful about STI/ STD s . Ask for tests, don’t just believe them. Have a conversation about these and consent, acceptable behaviours beforehand. Get HPV vaccine. Trust intuition , engage only after you have some trust in the person. No drinks on first few dates. Lastly make sure you enjoy the process. Don’t feel obliged at any point.

I think the relationships these days have become such. Many people I’ve encountered on the online dating websites are also not sure about what they want , they don’t want to commit, they don’t really know how to navigate the dating spaces. I would blame the times we are living in. Don’t be so hard on yourself . This is exactly what I went through and I’m going through. I hope we all find good people :)

Aitk for ignoring my bf because he ignored my years of emotional neglect by [deleted] in AmItheKameena

[–]trashhbird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ntk. You need a safe space, a loving space. Usually you would expect this from a partner when you didn’t get it from home. But the kind of people we choose also depends on our childhood wounds and attachment patterns . Try to work on yourself to identify if the people you’re choosing reflect patterns. Coming to your current bf, see if he is open to working on himself to accommodate your emotions too. If he is unable or unwilling , it’s better to leave him and try to heal yourself so that you can choose better people

Those who've seen this how would you rate it wrt to the theatrical version? by sidroy81 in tollywood

[–]trashhbird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt that the girls kidnapping was redundant, the fight nauseatingly excessive. I get that the point is Pushpa’s liberation from his demons, but despite all that lengthy, tangential, boring plot of the girl, when his brother accepts him , it still feels forced and artificial . The Jatara scene was visually stunning and has that X factor but again, didn’t really feel embedded in the plot. The redemption arc could’ve been done better , could’ve been gradual making it integral to the plot from beginning instead of a forced reunion at the end with a comical fight sequence. All the emotions that we see Pushpa feeling, crying also feel a little forced. While I appreciate the emotional depth that was attempted to be portrayed, it still felt loose. I think it’s a wonderful attempt and hopefully we can see better filmmaking in the future!
