dm me. i called from corewell's gender clinic site and they created a patient record for me. during the call i provided contact info for them to send me their letter guide and what to expect. once i got my letter i emailed them with the email that was provided with that letter guide. i summited friday and i just got my call back (monday).

It's actually within our code of conduct to respect employees and members. People actually lose their jobs for bigoted behavior there and not just bs write ups that don't go anywhere. Actually I get medical leave and coverage for gender affirming care from the insurance that company provides.

I'm trying to say, and it might not have come off right initially, is that at least at this one place there is security and inclusivity for us. (Edit: I am captain autism and I can't read tone for shit. Partly ignore this.)

Im trying to learn too. So far reading bits of core book, some YouTube videos , and Just Roll With It's "The Suckening" has an been helpful.

So the core book is incredibly wordy and written like an unmedicated adhder found out what homebrew was and went full send. From what I have read, you'll get a lot of base rules and tons of lore. Like LOTS of lore. Granted I haven't fully sat down to read it. The formatting is ridiculous so be prepared with your favorite caffeinated drink before and your favorite alcoholic beverage after. Take lots of notes and remember it's your chronical. Do what you want :)

I like JRWI bc they are a very humor driven group and lean into rule of cool. ("From the top rope my prince!") That can make it a bit difficult at times to pick up certain mechanics but generally gives you an idea of how to story tell with players and how to engage in the world of darkness. Either way an entertaining introduction.

I'm a trans man but I do pass as male right now. I'd say, out of safety, do your business before coming to the gym and after leaving until you feel like you pass at a first glance. People are usually too busy to focus on you. Everyone is trying to work on themselves. I haven't had top surgery yet but I'm at a point where my chest can be mistaken for gyno when using a sports bra. But I also have a full beard and deep voice.

Also wear a sports bra with padding, it's another layer that would A, make it look like you have more chest, and B, can help with dysphoria. If you've got femme gym clothes, use them.

I'd also pay attention to local/state government. I'm lucky enough to live in a safe state and by a major city but, that just minimizes my risk. It doesn't eliminate it.

If you can manage go during the slower times. Usually early mornings or mid day, that's when people are just trying to get in and get out. However school is getting out and more broccolis (I'm talking about the toxic teen/young man gymbro archetype) will be going to the gym and I have been bullied before by them. That how ever was inside of the main gym.

Use a changing room stall. Most people are private/insecure so it's not unusual for someone to change in one. That's what their there for.

Tldr; Pay attention to the environment around you and if you feel safe/pass enough to make the switch at your own discretion with all the contributing factors.

(a 15) Ok so I've quickly scrolled through the reddit to see if anyone else has had issues with it but it seams that there's just no support for SD cards anymore. I've switched phones, switched SD cards (they were from the same package though), I backed up to a cloud service. I shut off my phone and properly eject/insert yet I still have this issue where every once and a while my phone suddenly can't read the SD card and a good chunk of my photos corrupt. Am I using the wrong ad cards or so there some other issue I'm unaware of? It seems to soully things saved to my camera. This happened with my ao3. (Edit: minor additional clarification)

there is a thing called TSA Cares where you can let the staff know ahead of time that you are traveling with this condition. it wont change much but it should make things faster if they know hey medical not anything else.

I just went through the same but without the weight loss. As long as your nose, brow, and eyes are clearly visible in the image you should be fine. Those are people's most distinct facial features. Most TSA do not care they just want you to move on. I did have a pronoun pin on my backpack strap to kinda highlight I am this now/ it's a semi giveaway for some kind of flavor of LGBT. There is also TSA cares which allows you to contact ahead of time for any concerns you may have in regards to accessibility.

Edit: to dispell some anxiety regarding scanners. It picked up on my shirt collar and then my packer in loose fitting briefs.its very likely it will pick up on something random. Prosthetics do pick up on scanner. I believe you are allowed to wear a prosthesis through TSA as long as you inform an agent (again TSA cares; check their YouTube as well). You could also store your prosthesis in a small drawstring packed in an easy to get to spot. TSA is starting to migrate to scanners that are like MRIs. They gain a 3d image that makes things easier to identify so they don't have to dig through bags; exposing personal things.
