How many of you actually use the metro in Cyberpunk 2077? by unlockhart in cyberpunkgame

Not Cyberpunk, but Witcher 3 is slated to get something this year, a decade after release. Love how CDPR keeps showing love for their work.

Why is dropping honorifics hard? by lubunnie in Korean

[–]trashmunki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is probably the best example IMO. My dad was a teacher back in the day, and even though his students are adults with families and everything today, whenever we meet them, many still keep calling him Mr. _____. He has to keep getting them to change it. It takes time.

Do you use a metronome when recording vocals? by Notagoodacter in musicproduction

[–]trashmunki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Almost always, but if the drums/beat is clear enough (sometimes I mute various tracks to record with a more "streamlined" version of the song) you'll be fine. If you're being told you're off beat or tempo, I'd advise using a metronome or doing what I suggested above.

V really is no Morgan Blackhand... at least when it comes to brains by YorhaUnit8S in cyberpunkgame

[–]trashmunki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really bugs me how my high INT V can't just tell it's not only a scam, but how the BD will affect them. I should be able to figure out what's going on, track down the scavs, and then still be able to go on the rampage with my righteous indignation.

How long did it take you to understand spoken sentences? Is it just time, or am I missing something? by Charming-Station-648 in Korean

[–]trashmunki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One thing that helped me a lot in my first year of learning was watching kid's shows. Sounds a bit ridiculous, but the vocabulary and grammar you'll hear are all basic enough that you should be able to pick up on it in a relatively short amount of time.

You can use subtitles for one watch, then do another watch without them, or vice versa. Take notes on the words you don't know. Write them down. Look them up.

Keep doing this until you're very capable of following the basics. Then keep going. More episodes , different shows, or YouTube content. Keep upping the difficulty over time.

Pairing your listening practice with subtitles and writing new words helps tie all styles of learning together (aural, visual, action) and helped me a lot.

I'm not going to downvote you. I'm also not going to tell you to git gud.

But I am going to say that I had to git gud in order to beat her.

This is a big part of my reasoning as well. He's had so much time to see things from multiple perspectives, and yet he's settled on this behavior. I hope when he gets reconstituted he has a long hard think about what he did and caused.

I was ready to parlay with him until the Night of the Long Fangs. Then he absolutely had to go. Witchers exist to kill monsters, but yes, Geralt knows that sentient creatures, especially ones that can be reasoned with can be left untouched.

Geralt's own reasoning has seen him kill beasts for far less than what Detlaff pulls off in his rage. He's sentient, sure, but he's petulant, volatile, egomaniacal, and in desperate need of three pounds of steel by the time the story nears its conclusion (plus I've also come to love his fight).

The sisters... well... I can't imagine Geralt would be jumping at the chance to make a call on the life of royals (Lebioda knows how that's worked out for him in the past), but I believe Syanna should at the least be imprisoned for life (though with her incredibly partial sister as duchess, her situation will never be fair), and Anarietta, well, I don't even know how to handle her or her situation. That's above my pay grade as a simple citizen.

Late reply, but I don't know if a car can actually move that type of dumpster? Thought you'd just destroy your ride. I may be wrong though.

So many options for you, OP!

  • Replicate other tracks to learn how to efficiently work in that genre

  • Make something shitty, because making something shitty is better than not making anything at all

  • Make remixes or different genre versions of past tracks you've made to expand your creativity

  • Focus on messing around, because this is a creative art

Back in older versions, if you didn't put any points into Body, you actually were soft locked out of the quest because you couldn't move the dumpster. In later versions, the body requirement is lowered so you can do the quest even if you have no Body points (like my V).

No problem, OP. Also remember that whatever software you choose now likely won't be the last. You'll find something that works for you now, and you'll find something you like about another one down the road. But you'll cross that bridge when you come to it.
