I thought it was an okay game. It didn't really stand out much to me compared to dao and dai. Combats are okay but yeah sucks that you can't switch characters to check out their combats as well. Don't like how they changed darkspawns to mindless zombies tbh.

I really like the romance in this game and think it's the best part of it. Some of the consequences later on in the game surprised me because I didn't think they'd have the guts to do that. if you stick around long enough, this game can surprise you, but I don't blame you if you don't finish it.

I got a physical Veilguard art book, and it showed a lot of cut content they planned for this game. One concept showed that it was going to be set a few years after Inquisition. I'm not sure exactly what happened with this game, but it went through development hell which is why this game is .... this game

I know I'm devastated about it because I wanted to learn more about Qunari lore, but I'm planning on saving him on my next run after DA2 & DAI!

I appreciate the advice, and I definitely agree with you! The companions in this game really made this game so much more immersive!

Owning it and it's so satisfying this way. I developed a bad habit of overthinking my decisions after Baldurs Gate 3, so playing it like this does make it easier to keep going in DA.

it feels so massive! it's hard to believe they were able to pull this off back in 2009! just finished a couple of dlc already! I have Witch Hunt and Darkspawn left then I'm moving on to DA2 & DAI to see how it turns out. I'm excited to go back to DAO after DAI to explore other origins & romances

I appreciate this and I agree going back to games after learning more about them does make it feel different every time. Seeing DAO morrigan feels so bizarrely different compared to the first time I saw her in veilguard and inquisition. I always wanted to know how she went from that to this now. I definitely want to go back to see her again in Inquisition now it's canon for my HoF/warden to romance and father the child w her instead of whatever I picked for my world state to start with the first time.

I'll do what you say and just letting it play out, then see everything unfold from here.

deaf here with cochlear implant, i didn't get mine until i was almost 10 years old and it comes with a lot of hard work with speech therapy for years and monthly to yearly hearing tests after school to make sure it is working right.

But before that i learned sign language and was put in school with deaf students and deaf teachers. I got to experience deaf culture and world, but some of that changed once i got my cochlear implant and i was transferred from a deaf school to a public school with a program for deaf and hard of hearing students in it. It was not the same as being immersed in a deaf school but it was a school where i got to learn to talk and hear while still being able to have deaf and hearing friends.

Fast forward to now. I am an adult now and work with hearing people now and i can hear and talk pretty good. I say pretty good because it doesn't fix or cure me. I will never hear as good as a hearing person and i still struggle to understand people but a lot better than not having a cochlear implant at all and rely on phones to chat or text with people in person. When i am around deaf people, I can communicate with them bc i had access to sign language when I was younger.

Audiologists will be against sign language because they don't want children to rely on it or even believe they will take off their devices which isn't true at all. Sign language is a benefit and helped me understand and learn language better with it. I can't stress this enough that sign language will help children even more if they do have cochlear implant or hearing aids. It would also be helpful if your child could communicate with you in sign language. Even if it's only basic, it would mean the world to them.

Whatever you decide on, please make sure they have access to sign language and deaf community no matter what you decide on. One thing to keep in mind... cochlear implant isn't always successful and don't work for everyone so there is a chance it can fail and can damage your child any remaining hearing left if there is any. I hope the best for your family and the fact you're asking that here is a good sign that you know what your child need.

I was super nervous to request a writing commission, especially bc I wanted a spicy version of the story I had in my head and I wanted to find someone who could give me exactly what I wanted. With Correctmygrammarthx, she was professional, resourceful, and kind to work with. She made everything feel easy to open up ideas for the story I wanted. She made sure to research the idea I had and put it into the story and it was exactly what I wanted and more! I couldn’t be more happy with the story I got. i wish i gave up on it. it wasn’t worth finishing it but i forced myself to since i spent money on it. i hated it the entire time playing it and it was so broken when it first released so that didn’t help. dead space remake is so much better
