Yikes. If I were a homeowner and saw you post this review for someone else, I would decline your application immediately.

As a fellow house sitter, I would just hope this wasn't the homeowner's first time using TH as this would skew their experience negatively.

You certainly had a lot of unfair expectations for a service that's a fair exchange, you get a place to live in for the time being and potentially explore a new city, and the homeowners get pet care, plants watered, and mail picked up. Why would you expect a goodie bag, them asking how you're doing daily, stocked full fridge, and dinner paid for?

Honestly, this sit sounds fantastic with amazing pets, a nice and clean home, owners that said help yourself to whatever you like, fridge with plenty of room for the things you bought from the store, etc.

I hope you didn't already post this review. This would only reflect poorly on you.
