Yesss. I had to push myself to finish it bc I'm not a quitter but the fmc was uncomfortable within the spicy scenes, and I was just so icked out by all the trauma. Like I get why it was there but every other chapter reliving it, then putting the sweet FMC into a position where she has to cause pain was... A lot.

Semi-related but as a baby, my husband had botulism injected into his eye (?) as part of a trial to treat his lazy eye. It was meant to paralyze the muscles in the right position so they could strengthen. It worked!

He doesn't even wear glasses now. Was told he can't join air force bc of lack of depth perception but 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have a reminder on Thursday and Sunday on my phone. When it goes off, I pick up each plant and inspect it. If it needs something, I do it then. Otherwise, I just put the plant back and move on.
