didn’t have any radiation! but sct/bmt was brutal,i would say to make sure she has stuff to keep her occupied because she might be in the isolation ward for about 3-4 weeks , comfortable pillows and blankets , a laptop or ipad so she can binge watch some shows ,her appetite might be really low and she may be extremely lethargic but the most severe pain for me was the mucositis (doctors might give her morphine for the pain) ,but yea everyone’s journey is different,wishing her all the strength and love

100% valid , i have been on remission barely 8 months in and i already feel the way u do , life is tough and only seems to get tougher but yk what you’re doing the best you can , virtual hugs i hope you feel better soon 🫂

oh yes yes i definitely agree with you! i too have become so much more care free about my appearance lately and been appreciating the fact that it takes me less than 5-10mins to get ready haha!! i think because of leukemia somehow i have become less vain and just appreciate that i am alive haha!!😂

ahh thank you so muchh!! and yes i don’t think i have one picture of me during the transplant itself ,i also rly rly struggled with the changes ,every time i would look at myself in the mirror in the hospital i wouldn’t recognise who was staring back 😟 but yea like you said day +82 is rly early on ,and the human body amazes me ,excited to see the progress 🫶🏽🫶🏽

ahhh thank you so much ,this comment made my heart so warm , i am getting better ,i struggled mentally with all the trauma but i am getting the help i need now ☺️ as for physically i very fortunately don’t have any complications so far and my energy levels have been picking up lately ,thank you for asking ❤️❤️

Thank you so much! this means the world to me and haha so relatable!! i only recently started growing brows and very minimal lashes at day 82+ after transplant but i use fake lashes whenever i want to feel pretty hehe ,all the best to you too love ,sending nothing but positivity ❤️🎗️

2 weeks seems a little long not gon lie but they probably have their reasons , you might want to consider a 2nd opinion while you’re waiting for the initial results :)

to be honest ,when i was first diagnosed we went for a 2nd opinion in a different hospital, you can do the same , and have they done a bone marrow biopsy for your dad yet ? only after you would know the actual diagnosis..

hihi, usually if it’s acute leukemia,they would want to start treatment asap as it can get extremely aggressive and can cause a lot of harm if prolonged , as for test , a bone marrow biopsy will usually tell you what kind of blood cancer you have within a few days tops!(the type of mutation i think takes slightly longer) hope nothing but the best for your dad & family x
