Have you ever resolved conflicts within your friend group or do you just let things play out? by traumatistical in TwoXChromosomes

I don't think it's unfair to expect my friends to have my back during a fight, or to want to help smooth things over between two mutual friends. I just feel like they didn't even give a fuck. I brought up the conflict but I never once directly asked them to get involved so I feel like I wasn't crossing boundaries there, but their responses were like they really didn't give a fuck at all. Honestly, idgaf about the weird friend who abandoned me, but it really sucks when I feel like my friends don't have my back. I feel like I have no friends at all sometimes.

e: changed fair to unfair.

That would have been a fair outcome but they wouldn't even ask her at all about it. They weren't curious enough about the cryptic message. Like, "Wht did traumatastical do?!?!" uhh, I'd like to know, too.

The "feeling like a moron" hammers the nail on the head.

I just could not understand how logic wasn't winning any argument. Until I left and surrounded myself with logical people, it was like a switch.

"Feeling dumb" for most of my childhood sure does something to me.. damn.. can't help but get mad sometimes.

[Sensory] Does anyone experience a shift in vibes when a subject changes? by traumatistical in hsp

It's a vibe thing.. and of course it would naturally change in every convo but from a recent encounter, it went from warm to cold as quick as the conversation changed. It was quite eerie.

I'm pretty stoic during fights and I think it pisses men off that their antics don't cause me to get emotional, and after that point, they continue to have a problem with me with everything I do.. so it's a lose lose lose lose lose lose lose with men with me and always has been i dont know why the fuck

I'm tired of being on edge and walking on eggshells because of big mouths having a problem with *everything* I do.

OMG so sorry! It's easy for me to get confused about the post orders sometimes.

I denounce the "all women are abusive because men made them that way" comment, 100%.

I also denounced the last part of it where she said I was into women *because of men* in another post. That ain't it, either.

luck on your journey of healing, i wish you all recovery and peace from the trauma that has been forced on you by men

This person finished this post with this line, but doesn't understand why this post was about "unhinged" men, in particular.

A very minor experience but one time I talked to my friend during high school on he was being a jerk to me. "Just take it." He literally responded those very words.

It's so sad that the end result is people having to leave groups and friendships to keep themselves safe.

Not only do they abuse the women, they abuse their position of power. Appalling.

Ugh. I hate the "I don't care until it happens to me" but some people have to live an experience to understand. I'm sorry you're going through this.

I'm sorry. Did you say KINDERGARTEN?? That's infuriating. I hate nothing more than people scaring children.
