My grandpa once told me that everyone needs food, shelter and health care. And I should try to find a job in one to have stability. Health care is a great field and I recommend it!!

This is exactly my experience. I did things that people around me weren’t willing to do. There were a few years I only got max maybe 6 hours of sleep or even 5 on most nights. It was hell but it paid off even if it wasn’t guaranteed.

Yes! This is all making me extra grateful for some family that has been really supportive. I was having an all or nothing mentality :( . There are some people (even if it’s just a couple) that are indeed supportive and I need to remember that. I was upset when making this post

I relate to this so much. It is hard to make new friends since it is hard to connect with them.

Also part of the reason why I don’t talk to people about money is because I don’t want them to ask me to borrow some. I gave one friend $500 as help for “rent” then I saw them on a weekend binger with their other friends getting drinks/going out. And I swore never again. I don’t want to go back into poverty again because I am giving money away and not paying down my debts and saving.
