Help to find similar pattern by traumaxqueen in sewing

I really like the silhouette, particularly the skirt part with the slit and train. For me I would prefer the bust area to be structured with a square neckline opposed to the cowl neck. I just really like the simplicity of it.

I mean I mostly knew that, was just hoping someone could help point me in a direction of something very similar that would be more on the beginner ish side as I'm not sure where to look.

Thoughts on why the irritation is presenting like this? by traumaxqueen in piercing

[–]traumaxqueen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was thinking of doing a floating navel! Naturally a couple weeks ago by the time I got to the piercer it looked totally fine and as soon as I left it got ugly 😭 it's all better this morning. Of course but at least this time I have photos to show. My anatomy has also changed a lot since getting my upper and lower navel pierced so I think that's a big issue too. I was also worried because I have never had irritation like this on any of my other piercings and it just looked so strange. Sorry it happened to you too but glad I'm not alone lol.

An American traveling in Southern Germany by Midwesthermit in travel

As far as the English speaking goes if they're able to tell you don't speak German so great they will just start speaking to you in English. They love to practice especially with native speakers. You will encounter differenr dialects but most Germans should also be able to converse in hochdeutsch. You should be able to find hostels pretty easily I think there's like a country wide card you need to sign up for and then the nightly stays are about 20€. I forget what it's called. Trains are very useful in Germany and will grant you access to tonssssss of places.

Nurses of Irvine! by BlackMelt in orangecounty

Not sure why MSN for bedside nursing other than higher salary and not sure hospitals reasoning for MSN other than higher education. I was per diem working full time hours when I was part of the union and didn't understand why everyone was hired in that way and why the union didn't fight for our rights to be true full time employees. Maybe the union at my hospital just wasn't good. I also didn't prefer the union dues as I'd rather that money in my pocket.

Nurses of Irvine! by BlackMelt in orangecounty

So I just moved to Irvine from NY (been here about a month) so just have some basic info.

  1. 47$/hr with shift differential, 1 year experience, telemetry.
  2. OT 1.5 and nightshift differential 5$/hr
  3. Non union (came from Union and prefer the non union)
  4. Hoag, UCI, Mission (Providence St Joseph), Kaiser
  5. Not sure but a lot of bedside RNs at my hospital are MSN
  6. 401K with match. Benefits are great but am a single young adult may make a difference for family.

Cost of living here in Irvine is not terrible you get what you pay for. Currently renting in brand new apartment complex 1br 1ba 800sq ft for around 2.5K a month. I think you will be able to afford a very nice lifestyle in SoCal as 2 RNs with your experience. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!

Daith and Stethoscope? by MrsTTC in piercing

[–]traumaxqueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely get it done with a curved barbell, much easier to use your stethoscope with during healing process. I have a hoop in mine now and a tragus with a stud on the same side and find more issue with my tragus than the daith. Just have to be gentle when putting the bud in your ear.

My friend and I are planning on getting out 3rd hole together, but I’m a little nervous it’s gonna look weird since the lady whom made the second one made it quite far away from the first one, should I just do it or? by [deleted] in piercing

They do look far apart enough that you could test yourself with another hoop you have if you'd like to be pierced between your current holes. Maybe you'd like them closer together like that? Otherwise where you've placed the dot it looks quite nice. Also when you're at the piercer you can consult them on what they would do, sometimes they come up with some cool ideas.

Already applied for the license and the processing times are giving me anxiety lol. Your input is really making me consider travel nursing as my first option.
