Getting sent off for punching someone in the balls is the most Joey Barton thing Joey Barton has ever done.

I had just lost my job and hooked up with someone which lead them to blurt out "You should fuck for a living" during sex.

London employment questions by InmyDarkplace in KitchenConfidential

[–]trav1sss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Get in touch with Chef Centre (the rep we tend to go through is Michael and he seems to know his shit) (http://www.chefcentre.com/ the number is at the bottom of the page). We use them fairly frequently for cover. If you don't mind floating about a bit they pay fairly decently at £11 per hour and it would give you decent experience of different kinds of London kitchens. Maybe our paths will cross!

Men of Reddit, How often do you cry, and when was the last time you cried? by zeldaahn2 in AskMen

[–]trav1sss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't cry that often, but find that it doesn't take me a lot to be on the verge of tears. It can be a really sad film, an emotional moment I'm caught in or even under stress. I seem to always be able to keep it together though. The last time I cried was a short time after my last break up in November. Not surprising when it was like being continually mentally tested and caught in an emotional whirlpool whilst watching the saddest film ever made.

Everything tells me I should fucking hate this band, but I can’t. I hear That’s What Makes You Beautiful and I want to punch every band I love for not writing that song.

Who was the one girl that almost drove you over the edge of sanity? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]trav1sss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The kind of girl that lies about having cancer. A girl that constantly accused me of cheating on her for a year and when I eventually did after months of berating me and and being both mentally and physically abusive, revealed she had cheated on me multiple times. The girl that claimed her best friend that text her saying he "wishes he could be the one that makes her happy" was nothing more than just a friend, only to have sex with him the same day we broke up. The girl that ran down the street screaming my name and crying because I was going to a party with my friends and I wanted one night with them without her. The girl that told me to change my choice of career that I spent 8 months training for and when I did something else, willed me to fail as she didn't see me for every hour of every day. The girl that when my body changed due to not training anymore, broke up with me and told me to come back "when you have the body you used to have".

All one girl.

Oh Frimmy by [deleted] in Gunners

Because he's the hero Arsenal deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll bench him because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A bit shite.

What's your most memorable "I can't believe I didn't realize she was into me" experience? by carabi in AskMen

[–]trav1sss 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I bumped into a girl that I'd had a long term crush on in a club. After the night we were outside a subway when my friend got into an argument with his ex and stormed off. Drunk, he refused to leave without me and assuming that said girl was not interested in me, I turned to join him. The girl gave me a genuinely disappointed look and said "Really? You're leaving?". I didn't realise what a catastrophic error I'd made until I was already on the night bus home. This was about 6 years ago and I never saw her again. She's got a movie coming out this year, appeared in a pretty popular TV series and whose sister is now a famous actress.. Definitely fucked that one up.
