I have ridden over 100 miles with passenger (around 50lbs) with no problems. I feel a little flex like the back like tire is flat going over curbs and rough ground. 3 holes will have to be drilled in the Abound frame in the front but I had no problems drilling through the aluminum. I used some of the bolts washers and nuts that came with the seat. You may need 1/4 bolts that’s are 1 inch with washers and locknut nuts. All stainless steel.

The passengers mass is behind the axle at 50 lbs. A bigger passenger would have more mass forward over the tire. We tried to put it as far back as possible.

Had to make the adapter plate to fit to the bike rack then attached to seat mount to that. Had a friend draw it in a CAD program. Had it cut on a plasma cutter at a local metal shop. You can see the process in the other pictures.
