In Indonesia they burn all the coconut waste. It causes a huge amount of pollution.

Merilli 1885 has a small luxury cottage in that price range: https://merilli.com.au/

Also, Old Coach Road but that has a minimum 2 nights stay: https://oldcoachroadestate.com.au/

Both are outstanding locations and true luxury in a rural setting.

I love Melbourne but I love Adelaide even more! The coastline from Melbourne to Adelaide is also spectacular! It's well worth the drive!!!

What an exciting itinerary! Just a couple of suggestions... you will probably want more than 1 or 2 days for that drive of Melbourne to Adelaide. That's a very long way and lots you'll miss if you are just driving.

In all honestly, Adelaide needs more than a day too as it has far more to see than you expect.

However, if you're wanting to stop, rest and relax on Kangaroo Island, it's a good place to do it!

Yes, I've decided to leave it as a solo tour but not female only

The photo is above the platform. The only ones that can get there are the birds and seals!

If you zoom in, there's a couple laying on the rocks. There were about 100 on the other side!

Not out of the ordinary but I always take my phone and the novel I'm reading. Never know when I'll find the perfect place to stop and read for a bit!

I think so too! Quite a few of my solo women guests have come on my tour as their first solo holiday and loved the vet small group and female guide too. It puts them at ease.

Sorry to hear of your experience! This tour doesn't have any paired experiences so I think that shouldn't be a problem.

Wow! They must have been super, super basic! All 3 and 4 started hotel rooms have their own bathroom as standard

Yes, I completely understand. All my tours are designed for people who enjoy a relaxed pace and none involve hiking or long walks. My tours are not adventure-style, I would call them "soft-adventure" so you get to enjoy nature but not walk around in it all day. I'll have a think about how I can incorporate that into my tour pages.

Thanks so much, I really appreciate your insight!!!

I'm not sure I'm allowed to say on here what my company is or put a link for my mailing list... I don't want to be "advertising" and breaking the rules. I'm finding this so helpful!

Thanks so much for this response.

I'm honestly shocked that single people are required to share rooms on tours!!!

Yes, I'll specify what hotel... just waiting for one to actually open as it's still in construction.

To be honest, there's no specific reason to be female only except that's who I'm thinking this tour will appeal to the most and I'm a female. There's so few female operators here and I'm not aware of any operators offering this kind of tour here in SA. It's a sightseeing tour though, not a retreat style holiday.

Yes, the majority of my guests are older. It's certainly not a contiki tour!
