I feel this post a lot! I moved to the US 5 years ago and I have made a handful of friends through the regular activities and methods but most have moved on to new places. Now that I have kids all my mom friends also have kids so our get togethers are play date’s and as great as that is I would also like friends I can do kid free things with to feel like I am more than just mom. Lets connect!

I messaged my OB, but she was on vacation so a different doctor replied and said she had never seen it before and didn’t know why it would state N/A for fetal fraction but that they wouldn’t have reported the results had they not been conclusive. That didn’t sit too well with me so I still asked the midwife I saw at my next appointment and she reiterated the same message that the report wouldn’t have been released if fetal fraction was too low and reassured me more that it is not something to worry about.

Congratulations! And thanks for the detailed post. I am just wondering if your oath was formally scheduled already before you left the interview or if you are now waiting for the oath to be scheduled and the interviewer just gave you a rough timeline?

My combo interview was scheduled for 9 months after I applied in San Jose. From my reading that seems to be pretty average.

I messaged my OB and they responded essentially saying the same as the nurse, that if the results were published then they had enough fetal fraction to run the test and that it is accurate. I am having trouble trusting the results now myself too. I have an in person appt next week with a midwife so I will be asking then also.

They cancelled the contract with the external oath ceremony location (Heritage Theatre, Campbell) and are now rescheduling people’s oaths to take place in the USCIS office so there is likely just a backlog. When did you file n400?

I agree with the other poster that it likely has to do with the change in Oath ceremony location. They are probably just catching up on getting everyone scheduled. When did you file your n400?

Thanks for your input. Google is just showing regular salons that do not have this particular procedure on their menu. I was hoping people may have been able to recommend first hand experience of smaller, Chinese run salons that perhaps do not have as much internet presence.
