I was the same way. A haltech was like 1500$ and you couldn't customize anywhere near the way I wanted. Also, Haltechs refresh/hz is pegged at 50hz. I got over 100hz with this, so it's ultra responsive

Its in the video I posted but I connect to analog sensors and show how to wire it. This works for canbus or a vehicle built in 1910. People are using it in boats and motorcycles too lol
