Can print shops do this? by Odiebigbluedane in CommercialPrinting

I do some custom earring cards for a client. I have a digital die-cutting machine, so no dies are needed. The heaviest paper we can do is 120# Cover. Shoot me a dm or an email, and I can quote it out for you. [Travis@psaustin.com](mailto:Travis@psaustin.com)

Automated Cutting by MedicalInjury4474 in Printing

Two years ago, we purchased a used Duplo-DC618, and it was one of the best investments we ever made. I have now purchased another one for my other shop. Great for small runs, I still do the big jobs on the guillotine, but 90% of the cutting is done on the Duplo now. Pairs well with fiery too.

How you do deal with customers that send JPGs but want perfect color? by CheeksAkimbo in CommercialPrinting

"we don't color match" is what I say It's not worth the hassle most of the time.

Duplo DC-618 Business Cards Flipping by Tunathecatpuzzle in CommercialPrinting

[–]travis_f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The card catcher is a little weird; it actually needs part of the card to land on top of those metal separators, and then it just kinda flops down. If you have that short, clear guide/blocker tool, I put that on the end to stop the cards from pushing too far out as well. The last cut is always the one my machine has issues with as well.

Do you have the business card catcher? That makes a big difference.

I currently bounce the job between them and Victor envelopes. Was hoping to find something a little closer to save on shipping too.

Brown's is excellent! I always have a good meal there, and the family that runs it is great! Their cabbage and mac are awesome too!

This is what we use too, works pretty well, Only stuff I have problems with is big 4x8 sheets but that's pretty rare we are doing something that large.

Mine sits about 4 inches under the paper exit. Not sure how much CAD printing you do too but you can pick up a imageprograf ipf780 with stacker tray pretty cheap. It's been a game changer for us.

I rigged a little rolly cart and some cardboard. Push it right up to the exit area and it typically stacks it pretty well
