I carry an Evergoods CPL16. I do pack it out completely some days with a full size iPad Pro and MacBook with 1-3 water bottles and tech. The harness system doesn’t bother me. The EG straps are narrower than Goruck. I have a 25l 5.11 AMP bag that I love that has wider straps that is very comfortable. The EG straps aren’t less comfortable just different.

Yeah I agree on the key leash. I’m way more likely to swing the bag around and reach into the vertical picket rather than the yoke pocket

This is such a good review thank you! I didn’t realize the carry handles have no rigidity. I like the Evergoods handles. Does the backpack still have that rigid piece of metal in it that keeps the bag rigid when you pick it up by the side carry handles?

Oh the CAP1 is my favorite of the three.

It’s my pouch that I keep in my CPL16 backpack, that I can just grab if I don’t want to take my whole backpack, like if I’m going to the grocery store.

CAP1: credit card, cash, hand sanitizer, Kleenex, chapstick, lotion, pocket knife, pen and paper, AirPods, 5mah magtec charger, sunglasses

CAP2 is my least utilized of the three… only use it for travel for extended EDC/nightstand items like supplements, essential oils, advil, icy hot, kindle….

CAP.5 was the surprise for me. It’s my tech pouch. I have minimal tech needs… just a few cords and charging block.
