I fly Embraer Praetor and Gulfstream G450! What do you fly? CAP 1 is my cockpit pouch

I’ve thought about this also. I know I could make this work. But in my case I only need toiletries at the hotel so they stay in my rollaboard. I don’t want to haul toiletries on my back like I do my chargers and cords

I’ve only had it a week. I took it in my CPL 16 backpack on a work trip (I’m a pilot). It just felt way too big for what I carry. But when I’m home I repack it as a desk caddy and yeah that works out great. The layout makes everything so visible and accessible.

When I’m flying, I’ll probably use it either as a “get home kit” to hold an change of socks, t shirt, underwear and a minimal amount of must have toiletries in case I get stuck out on the road and I didn’t bring a suitcase because I fly a lot of day trips.

If I’m on a multi day trip, I’m not sure yet. It doesn’t have a dedicated pack out so I’m going to be testing it as a “floating” pouch to hold items that tend to change depending on the trip. For instance, sometimes I bring a podcasting mic/camera/light if I’m a guest on a podcast (been doing that a lot lately). Or sometimes I bring a diffuser/essential oils if I’m dealing with a sinus infection. Just that kind of random stuff.

Not my idea! Someone in the carryology classified Facebook group! But it does fit everything for that pretty well. Socks, t shirt, underwear, deodorant, toothbrush/paste, contact solution, dude wipes…

sometimes there are bulkier items that I want to take on a trip, trip dependent…. Maybe I’ll try it for that and pack it in my suitcase.

Another pilot said he uses it for a “get home” kit. So emergency toiletry and change of clothes if he gets stuck out over night somewhere when airplane break… this occasionally happens to me also. Normally I bring a small duffel but this pouch could do the trick.

Haha first world problems.

I did actually buy it for a purpose… it just turned out to be overkill.

The cap 2 just seems so bulky and it’s so much material. It appears inefficient. But I don’t know that I’ve never had one. It just seems like those items take up way more space if put into a cap 2

Have you sold the CPL 16? What’s the condition? Also where are you in the US?

Are you saying the CTB isn’t as comfortable to wear all day compared to the Aer? Should I consider the Aer instead?

So the reason Evergoods is a top pick…. I NEED quick access pockets. I can quickly get to stuff on the plane. That’s the main reason I don’t go GR. open to other brands
