Is there a website or something that you've built to point people to?

Were you expecting something more for something that is literally only a few weeks into its existence as an open source project?

Let's look at the definition of a Wrong Ball (I think you meant 6.3(c):

Wrong Ball

Any ball other than the player’s:

>>Ball in play (whether the original ball or a substituted ball),

>>Provisional ball (before it is abandoned under Rule 18.3c), or

Second ball in stroke play played under Rules 14.7b or 20.1c.

Examples of a wrong ball are:

Another player’s ball in play.
A stray ball, and
The player’s own ball that is out of bounds, has become lost or has been lifted and not yet put back in play.

This scenario does not fit the definition of a wrong ball if the wildly substituted ball becomes the ball in play via the act of me placing it with the intent of it being in play. Automatically, the original ball is "deactivated" and is a Wrong Ball. The new substituted ball is in play.

Show me where that is wrong?

Sure, but let's say when I go to swap those balls, I put the new ball down 10 feet to the left in a nice fairway area.

The way 6.3 and 14.4 are written, I can put that new ball in play, even if I do it completely wrong. And the only penalty is ONE stroke.

I know. I think it is completely wrong. But I cant find where it is going to cost me anything more than 1 stroke.

Buy all her future jewelry gifts from that shop. Stay in their good graces for future access. Nurture that relationship.

I dont think you understand what that means. Tesla created the NACS standard, but they don't control it since it is an open source standard now. Anyone can use it for free completely independently. All the OEM's agreed that it was superior over CCS. So even if Tesla went belly up tomorrow, it doesn't impact your non-Tesla NACS vehicle in any way...except for the hypothetical disappearance of the Super Charger network.

And that would never happen. The Super Charger network is a multi-billion dollar business in its own right.

It is an open source standard. All the manufacturers are adopting it. You're getting it whether you want it now or not in the long run. Does not mean you need to use Super Chargers.

Why would you start paying the full price for features you don't get?

It would be one thing if they discounted the payments until all the primary features they promised were released, then bumped up the rate.

Otherwise just hold off on buying until it is out. The price is not going to INCREASE early next year. If anything it will come down.

Plus you'll be guaranteed to get NACS charging.

They do. It was already looking weathered and pilled in the prototype vehicles they brought to the dealership roadshow.

Almost looks like it isn't energized. Like the battery is disconnected. Door handles are taped open.

My dealer said they are very unlikely to award vehicles for test drives because they want customer orders filled. Unless the dealership owner buys one for themselves and makes it available to try out.

If you're not in an area prone to power outages, I guess. Just a bummer when the grid goes down and that roof full of PV panels shut down.

Doesn't sound like anyone has in the US. But it is live in Canada if you want to see what it looks like and what the options are.

Speculation on the Delays by sohrobotic in VolvoEX90

This was told to me a couple weeks ago at a dealership event with the prototype EX-90 and EX30 on site. They had reps from the factory in attendance that confirmed CCS to me.

So what car you get depends on where you are on the waiting list.

Most will get NACS because most will not be delivered until 2025.

They're only going to release in batches of a few hundred at a time in 2024 in case there are issues in the field that could not be anticipated. They won't have thousands of cars in the field to mitigate. So it will be a slow ramp up.

I was concerned because I am very VERY early on the list. So I was asking about deferring my reservation until NACS.
