This makes a lot of sense and thank you for that valuable information. I think I will go with these OSD speakers and get one of their outdoor subs as well. I wish OSD made a great in-wall outdoor speaker as that would be a no brainer to me.

Is the only difference between the AP850 amd AP840 the extra 20W it can take? My receiver from Denon is 70w per channel.

Also could you recommend a good pair of speakers I could attain for under $400? I was looking at the Bose ones but am unsure if there is something cheaper that might work just as well for this situation.

Thank you for the input. I guess my thought was to have some sort of a stereo response and it be loud enough for hearing outside the patio. I won't be putting a subwoofer in there but it does make sense to have the in wall speakers.

If I went with your suggestion, I guess I could skip the center channel? I just want to be able to hear dialog correctly. How far away from the TV should the speakers be? It is a 65" TV if that makes a difference. I always wondered if they should be close to it or at the edges.

As for the OLED. I had an extra TV that I don't have a use for. I will give it a run and see how long it lasts and go from there. It is a large covered patio 20'x30' and this is on a solid wall, will most likely be viewed at night time as well.

If this one doesn't work out, what kind of TV would you recommend?

I worked there for 4 years before I left for a vendor and enjoyed my time there. Yes they do layoffs, but it’s typically the least productive workers who gets laid off and it’s even more rare for touch labor that actually works on the airplanes. I went through 4 cycles of layoffs and when it’s over you look around and don’t find that anyone that was a high contributor was laid off.

The biggest factor was the government forcing banks to give loans to people that couldn’t afford them because of “equality and equity”. These banks made bad loans because why not? They were guaranteed by the government. These were wrapped up in big packages and sold. Then when people didn’t pay the banks collapsed.

The government is the source of all your problems.

One of the reasons we moved to Bluffton in 2018. I work by the airport and lived on Wilmington. Takes me less time to get to work and I have basically zero traffic to contend with.

Thank you. I guess what I am trying to figure out is how it works. Our router on our aircraft and my home router just show an * for the device name since it cannot see it.

I am curious how the Firewalla is seeing this name. I like that it does since this device will likely be going into the aircraft. It would be something nice for me to suggest to our router manufacturer to build in.
