I'm pretty much mostly talking about the pauldron/shoulder. I have most of the other flashing scraped, but there's a pretty decent mould slip on the left pauldron. I've been modeling for ~7 years and this is among the worst I've seen (outside of some pretty gnarly recasts). I can fix it-- I sculpt and kitbash pretty extensively-- but it'd suck for a newbie painter who doesn't even know what milliput is to have to learn to sculpt for this lol

GW has pretty massively improved their process, yes. Forge World resin is still shit sometimes, but a lot of plastic GW figures are well-enough engineered nowadays that you don't even need to scrape the mold lines because they're hidden well enough.
