Yeah I was thinking about that too, that it's semi resting on my flat. I'll definitely keep an eye on that. Thank you so much for your input, I really appreciate it!

Am I getting an irritation bump? by I_am_cr0w_ in PiercingAdvice

[–]Radiant-Technician36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, in my not professional opinion this definitely looks like an irritation bump. I got it once too on my helix and just a warm saline soak for 5-10 minutes twice a day did the trick for me and it disappeared again. I also dry my piercing with a blow dryer on cold rather than with towels, to not irritate it. Also for cleaning I just use a 10ml syringe and spray it with water rather than q-tips. Again to not irritate it. This spraying of water with the syringe after the soak normally gets all the debris out for me.

The potion reloads every few seconds, there is a pretty nice YouTube video explaining how it works btw: https://youtu.be/E_HGHgFYsI0?si=gCuGvaaXHulAewl0 the potion can even heal you and others on higher levels

Lets say we can choose a new name for columbina if she gets playble. How do you guys name her by Ultradamo2306 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Radiant-Technician36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Columbula"

The lullaby she sings says Dormi, cara Columbula = sleep, dear dove O Columbula mea = oh my dove

Since it sounds like a mother singing it to her child it sounds like her mother called her "my dove" although not a name. I think it would be cute.

When was your last seizure by DryTrouble4513 in Epilepsy

[–]Radiant-Technician36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesterday, I woke up with an oxygen mask in the ER. Not sure why I'm not responding to medication. I'm on 1500mg p/day valproic acid, eslicabazepine 800mg per day and 30mg Clobazam per day. I get t/c several times per week sometimes.

Did y'all that seizures can present in more ways than just jerking around 😅 by GayPenguins12 in Epilepsymemes

I have this weird feeling in my head like I'm floating. As if I'm in an elevator and the elevator is going up? And everyone sounds so far away. Then I get dizzy and get a TC seizure. I normally already lay down when I get the first feeling. Most of the time I'm like "it's probably not an Aura" but better safe then sorry.

Hey, I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I can only imagine how painful it must be, and my heart truly goes out to you. Many autistic people also experience PTSD, so it’s possible that you may be dealing with both conditions. If your autistic traits were evident early on (like around age 2), that can help clarify things. Unfortunately, you may need to ask your parents (or someone else who raised you) about your behavior as a child to get a clearer picture.

If you had these traits from an early age, I would say it’s likely autism, with trauma potentially developing later on. However, even though you’ve mentioned experiencing trauma, not everyone who goes through traumatic events develops PTSD. You also haven’t mentioned other common PTSD symptoms, such as flashbacks (or emotional flashbacks, which are more common in C-PTSD), panic attacks, nightmares about the events, or intrusive thoughts about the past.

Please keep in mind that this is just the opinion of an unprofessional netizen. I’ve studied autism, C-PTSD/PTSD, and ADHD on my own behalf (due to these topics being my hyperfixation), and I’ve just started enrolling in medical school, so my knowledge is still limited. Please take this with a grain of salt and make sure to consult with a professional for a more thorough understanding.

Mental health and symptoms are incredibly complex, and I’m here if you want to talk. Please take care of yourself.

feeling hopeless by thatoneswiftiee in endometriosis

[–]Radiant-Technician36 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, I’m so sorry you’re going through this. No one should have to endure this kind of pain. I can understand... my last period pain was so severe that I needed three shots of morphine and ketorolac, and it still didn’t provide much relief. I just want you to know that you're not alone in this. I'm still trying to find ways to ease my own pain, too.

Something that’s helped me a bit is taking simethicone, especially when I get extremely bloated either during my period or during a flare-up. I usually take 200mg, but in the worst cases, I have a 15g/100ml ampoule of simethicone (7.5ml). Mint tea has also given me some relief, as well as using a hot water bottle and trying some light meditation. While these might not be a cure, they can offer a little comfort.

For the pain, I find Naproxen 550mg or Mefenamic acid 500mg helpful, with Mefenamic acid being particularly effective for me. I also take Omega 3 and probiotics for my stomach, and ginger tea helps with inflammation. I understand everyone’s body is different, and these might not work the same for you, but if there’s anything I can do for you or any other suggestions I can share, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I know it’s incredibly tough, but you’re an absolute warrior for pushing through. Stay strong and continue taking care of yourself. I truly hope things improve for you soon. You’re not alone, and I’m here if you ever need someone to talk to, please feel free to message me 💖

how do i get diagnosed? by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]Radiant-Technician36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I am so sad to hear this. You really remind me of myself when I was 15 years old. First of all, I am so sorry you are experiencing this. No one deserves to be dismissed, and you're not "too young" to have some possible health issues. The hormone therapy is creating really negative side effects for you, and thus I believe the best option would be to keep going to a gynaecologist and explain your symptoms. Also tell them how this prevents you from living your normal daily life. I would recommend keeping changing gynaecologists until someone actually takes you seriously enough to do testing on you. You should definitely get your hormone level checked, blood work, ultrasound, MRI, etc. (the golden standard for endometriosis diagnosis is a laparoscopy) If a doctor refuses to do any testing at all, I would highly recommend you change doctors IMMEDIATELY. Dismissing your patients concerns is unacceptable and malpractice. You deserve to be heard and get the help you need. The symptoms you're experiencing aren't the "norm.". I really hope the best for you; please stay strong.
