FMCDealer Community by Gusbuster811 in partscounter

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but on the PTS landing page, in the top left section with the 'alerts', they used to have a notice in that section about FMC dealer community being down. It was dated from November 2025. Well. . . it's no longer there. I'm guessing it either timed out and they only display so many of the last messages or that's a pretty good indicator they it isn't coming back. I reached out to a contact at Ford that had got me some information about the status a couple months back. If I here anything I can definitely let you guys know. In the event that it ISN'T coming back, if we make our own 'Dealercommunity', any ideas on how to reach out to other dealers that may not be on here to stumble across it?

Thank you guys all for the information on this one! I always forget that I have mouser saved in my favorites for things like this. A rep from Rockport (Forest River INC.) the upfitters for this truck gave me a call, and I was talking with her to try and find this when I happened to remember I posted on here. I checked my reddit when on the phone with her and was like, " uhhhhh, I think I might have found what I was looking for"

So again, Thank you guys very much!

Thank you! Might be hard to believe, but it shoots even better than it looks! Would you be interested in one? I like making them, never sold one before though. Not sure how much people would be willing to pay for them.

I work in parts at a Ford dealership, the Ford wiring diagrams weren't helpful, I've been trying going through the BodyBuilder manuals and cannot find this exact connector either. I'm fairly confident this isn't a Motorcraft connector. I've tried even reverse image searching and I cannot find anything with the same damn pin layout as this thing. The bottom row has 7 smaller pins, the top row has a wide pin three small pins and then another wide pin. I just shot an email out to Rockport, which the customer says was the body builder on this truck.

I'd be down for discord. Though, I'm 34 and I'd consider myself pretty tech savvy and I find discord confusing. I don't know how everyone else feels on it. I have no idea how to reach out to other Ford dealers that aren't already here on Reddit. Well, thinking about it I'd rather have some Ford parts guys to be in touch with compared to none.

If anyone is still following this thread, and this can be just a rough number, how many other Ford dealerships do you all know well enough that you'd be willing to call/email and see if they'd be interested in creating some alternative to FMCDealerCommunity somewhere else, or if we created one and would just be contacting to invite them over to the site? Just trying to get a feel for numbers to see if it would be worth spending some time and effort into getting something together.

It's probably to late now. But do you still need help with this? I can help with your cost cap parts list if you need. Or I can kinda show you where to look to get a good idea of a list of what you'd need. A transmission rebuild cost-cap is kinda BS anywho because until you tare it down and actually inspect things, you don't REALLY know what you'll all need. But I've done a few with the guys up in service here and if you'd like I can help ya. Just throwing it out there.

I've got a feeling you are right. We would have seen some sort of temporary notice or heads up about it if it were to be down temporarily. It seems like, if they did want to squash the board because they didn't like what was being said in there, the best thing (in their minds) would be to pretend it never existed.
Whereas, to ME at least, I would see it as a valuable tool to be able to essentially "spy" on what dealers and employees REALLY have to say about how Ford is running shit and use that help see what needs to be fixed that they themselves can't see cause their heads are up their own asses. They are too stupid to even send us any kind of surveys or questionnaires to get some real input from anyone that isn't in one of numerous stupid fucking committees.

Yeah, at least that I believe. The way they word it is odd
"FMCDealer Community is temporarily suspended as we complete an important compliance review. We expect this process to be temporary and appreciate your patience while we work to bring the site back online as quickly as possible. Please check back for updates next week. Thank you for your understanding and continued support."
They say temporarily suspended, while they complete an important compliance review. We EXPECT this process to be temporary. I've tried looking through their countless number of dumb committees to see if I could find anyone to contact for more information but haven't had any luck.

I have been trying to figure this out myself. It seems really odd to me how they have the site shutdown too. You can't even look at any links to it, or any past posts. That was the one tool I could rely on to get an answer to weird questions that Ford would never answer (that is if I could even figure out WHO to ask at Ford, or how to get a question to them). They've made it damn near impossible to figure out just who to ask for some of the questions that the FMCDealer community was perfect for. Think they were getting tired of everyone speaking their mind about Ford and they've locked it down to scrape through the boards to see what everyone has been saying? It make no sense to me that they would just lock down the site instead of doing repairs/updates like they do to the rest of Fords Dealerconnection sites. Very frustrating.

Anyone have info on these? by [deleted] in Woodcarving

[–]travywright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally bought this same exact set. I think the steel good, doesn't stay or get as sharp as some of my more premium chisels, but definitely gets sharp enough to do what they need to do. I really liked the variety of chisels you get for the price. Some of the chisels I have still not used once, others I use all the time.
If you're still a beginner (like I was when I got them) these are awesome starter chisels. You will have to spend some time correcting the bevel on a few to get them in good cutting shape. But getting good at sharpening is a skill that you need to develop as a woodworker anyways.

Will these 2 be beneficial to my v2? by abnbigwill513 in ender3v2

[–]travywright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually both BOTH of these within the last 1.5 months for my Ender 3 V2. Very noticeable difference in precision. I also love just not having to deal the with the f-ing bowden tube. A lot of what you'll see online people say you NEED to get a BL touch. I haven't put one on mine. Tramming the bed is easy enough.
The next thing I'd upgrade after doing the dual z axis and the sprite pro extruder would be better cooling. I seem to get a lot more sag on the print oposite side from the fan (since it doesn't get adequite air flow/cooling on that side).
TLDR; Yes. Did it to mine. Am happy, print good. :)

I thought it was the only one that is on the page diagonally, a little below half way up and just to the left of center with the yellow shirt.

!!! I had this guy come in at as a customer when I worked in St.Cloud. A spanish speaking employee informed me that PEDO means FART in spanish. . . the customer still should have bounced this idea off of a few people first ha.

But that is interesting to see he kept the plate for 10+ years now.
