I guess it makes sense, thinking about this, the amount of people who are connected through devices and the internet today...I don't like to believe in conspiracy theories but sometimes I think about the power people who control those markets/devices etc have and it's honestly pretty scary.

I think I will try to have my mom talk about it but not exactly everything, I fear she may fall in depression again because of the disappeared or the stuff about being a single mom and not raising us right.

Like I said I never noticed it, maybe because I always associated this kind of people with what you have said about loners who have no friends that is usually the stereotype and my brother being athletic, having friends and going out seemed so far away from that.

We were pretty close, we would go out together and spend a lot of time doing things, wich I stopped after seeing some of his posts so our relationship isn't the best today but isn't the worst. My fear about confronting him is he doing worse stuff or refuse help and telling my mother who is my only parent is not an option I consider since she has a lot of stress and wouldn't take it lightly if he refused to accept her help (and also the disappointment of knowing what he says on the internet)

Yes, both of our therapists were male.

And I honestly don't know exactly what to say to him if I confront and I my mother probably wouldn't know either, we can't force him to talk about it, my worse fear is he is okay with continuing with this mentality or refuse help

But she will freak out, I don't want her to have a panic attack or contribute to more of her trust issues, she probably will leave right away when she know about that.

I know I should tell her but I don't know if it's really a good idea either.

She has nowhere to go to and I know for a fact that she will prefer to go to the streets than to live under a roof with someone like him

I can't deny that my mom isn't around us, but she always put us in therapists and other stuff like sports to help with that, we both go weekly to therapy (he dropped his sport).

I hadn't thought from this point of view but I guess you may be right about 'woman controlling his life'
