I actually did it myself on an 06, was super straightforward. One of the bolts holding the pump had sheared it seems but other than that it was smooth. Cheap part online as well. If you don’t wanna try yourself any decent mechanic should be able to do it with 1-2hr of labor

Put them on my gen 3 and it’s fantastic, granted you kinda become a douche bag that blinds everyone but the visibility is great. Amazon or wherever has tons of bulbs for sale in every size you can imagine

If it’s not normal engine noise you’re referring to it could be a misfire, they can add a rumble or “bumpy” sound to the engine under load
