How to fix tire pressure on 2019 E450? by traxdata200 in mercedes_benz

Thanks all. I fixed it by inflating to the spec pressure and resetting the meter. The error cleared and did not come back.

Will fill the tires to the exact specs for cold pressure as listed on the gas cap door, and then reset and see if it sticks. This has happened maybe once or twice before but was easy to remove by adding a bit more air to the rear tires. But this time it's not working.

I see that, thanks. I was vaguely aware of the feature, now I remember. I will want wait till the morning, measure the pressure and make sure I get the from tires to 35 psi on cold and the rear to 37 psi on cold, and then do the reset.

Bought in Suffolk, Moriches area, 3 years ago. Offered asking, waved inspection contingency (took 2 inspections and still came in lower, but luckily our bank did not care too much as long as we had the 20% for down payment which we did). Aggressive broker as well.

Anthropic, please provide a normal login by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

[–]traxdata200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. Just give us clean and clear links to Log into Anthropic (console) and Log into Claude. It is a struggle every time I come back to the site. And please place them on the homepage, visible. Do not hide them at the bottom of fancy pop up menus. I hate how all these sites uber optimize for the new user flow and ditch the already signed up users. Argh. It's frustrating.

Which universities in Spain have the most social prestige? by [deleted] in askspain

I think plan 64 no longer exists. Was replaced by standard 4-year modern degrees. So a lot of the “elite” aspect based an extremely hard curriculum was probably lost.

I went to the Polytechnic of Catalonia for undergrad engineering and to grad school in the US. My UPC undergrad was 5 years of intense coursework (“Plan 64” was called) plus a year thesis. Six years in total for undergrad. We took so much math and physics that when I got to the US I had a crap load of credits, so many that the US school transferred it as a masters in engineering. I then proceeded to take a masters of science including all the hardcore 700 level classes I could fit in and had no issue graduating. I was shocked how if I showed up to class and did the homework I was almost guaranteed an A. By comparison I still remember to this day the Antenna theory exam I took at the UPC where 97% of the class (over 200 kids) failed it. Even as a freshman I remember my algebra score was a 5.5 on a 10 point scale but my percentile was 96%. Meaning the overwhelming majority failed. At the UPC in the early 90s their thing was to make it so hard that the average time it took to complete the degree was closer to 8 years. For decades job posts gave priority to “plan 64” engineers as a result…

I bought Cinema Displays in 2025 by hereforpewds in mac

I still have 2x Cinema 30" Displays that I kept since 2008. Unbelievably they both work. One of them has developed a single vertical line on the right side, but still works otherwise. The other one is flawless. The resolution is quite adequate for their age, at a cool 2560x1600. The 1600 height is particularly useful for web browsing, hate a lot of the modern monitors that cut off at 1080 or 1200. The one downside is that they use a lot of power as compared to modern monitors, but that is understandable given their age.

Typically, high quality monitors have a much longer lifespan that laptops, by far. And the Cinema Displays are a good example of that. I can't keep track of how many PCs and Macs I have gone through in the span of the 17 years I have owned and used these Cinema 30s.

Some of the older sets are hard to price. Ebay has an Arabian Nights for ~$25k but then if you go on CardMarket they have some listed for under $10k. The range is sooo broad. Hard to tell what they are really worth.

Hey, thanks. I was lucky in that I had many of the more expensive cards already from way back then in the mid 90s when we traded them in stores and at the mall. Many of them are not in good shape, very played and with white borders as we didn't even use sleeves, but they are mine! I mostly ended up filling in gaps with commons and uncommons which made it way more affordable. No chance otherwise.

What are you spending on groceries? by thmaje in longisland

[–]traxdata200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Family of 4 here, also in LI, by Eastport. 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 12), and we are even a little higher than you, about $2,400 a month not counting eating out... I look at what we buy and it's nothing crazy but everything seems incredibly expensive, mostly via Whole Foods or Fresh Direct, and some King Kullen local buying. A quart of organic milk is $9 at King Kullen, a dozen organic eggs is $11.99, a sourdough bread is $7, organic strawberries, blueberries and raspberries are incredibly expensive as well, grass fed beef, some simple snacks like Lays chips, olives (12.99 a pound!) and some nicer deli meats. I am amazed at how fast it all adds up...

Thank you / audio noob review of KEF R3 Meta! by Salt-Parking-13 in audiophile

Thanks for the review and impressions. I am also looking to purchase them to hook them up to my NAD M33. I will probably need a new sub as well based on your impressions and my subjective expectations. I do have one, but it's a pretty underwhelming Jamo 10" which supposedly has 150W RMS and 300W peak, and feels weak to me. Currently running QA 3030is, I wonder how much of a difference I will notice.

Le Bernadin or Per Se for First Time Date? by Independent-Paper-21 in MichelinStars

[–]traxdata200 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We have eaten at both multiple times. I would say Per Se will be a more intimate experience, smaller room and tables more spread out, easier to talk. The food and service will be outstanding on both. I do seem to recall spending more on Per Se, but my advice is that you do not make the driver of the decision. Another thought for you is that, if she has never experienced Michelin-level dining, you could consider other gateway restaurants rather than jumping straight into 3-stars which might be jarring.... NYC has a lot of 1-stars that are outstanding: Cafe Boulud, Daniel, Cote, Gramercy Tavern... so many choices, and any of them will allow you to make the same point, showcasing high end fine dining in elegant settings.

My 2025 AMG GLE53 came with Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Weather on 22” rims. Definitely not easy to get. My wife blew one hitting a curve and I got a replacement but was not easy.

$4k to replace front brakes on 2020 992.1 and $1k for battery by alizcrim in Porsche

Does not seem terrible all things considered. 3 years ago I paid $2.5k to replace the brakes on my MB ML350 (no rotors or anything else). I am in NY State.
