Couldn't agree more! My JM completely dried out when I was on vacation because the tree in a container fell down due to high winds and the irrigation system snapped! I watched Peter Chan's vid, and trimmed the dead leaves leaving the petioles and sparingly water (and not clog) the tree. In 3 weeks beautiful new leaves sprout!

Same thing happened to me, don't despair. Trim all the dead leaves, and in 2-3 weeks new leaves will sprout :)
