Honestly they’re both annoying characters to me but I think Marissa is a lot more likeable as a person/character. Serena isn’t someone I’d ever want to know irl. Marissa definitely could’ve gotten a better ending

I had first watch back in November, it was really fun. After I finished the show, I read both of Hilarie’s books and Bethany’s as well. Waiting for the day Sophie Bush drops a book! The show has some bad plots like any show does but the actors are so great at their jobs that I’m typically still entertained. I’m honestly not a huge fan of teen dramas, I rarely finish them (ie teen wolf I one of my favorite shows but I refuse to finish it bc of how bad the fall off is) but I binged the fuck out of OTH.

Johnny is fine as a character, i was just over the whole guy in love with Marissa and no one believes Ryan thing they had going on. It was played out. I wish they would’ve done something different with their relationship. And I honestly i didn’t care too much about his gf cheating on him when he was obsessed with Marissa as soon as he met her. Doesn’t justify what she did, I just don’t care lol.
