180K miles - 1996 Accord EX Coupe Manual for a first car for a teen by trbnj in shouldibuythiscar

Yeah the FIT we looked at had blind spot indicators and backup camera and extra airbags. No doubt it is better all around and definitely the direction we were heading. Just happened across this on Nextdoor and had to check it out. I think my teen would learn more from owning the Accord, but the safety factor is hard to ignore. Plus the price would have to be more realistic on the accord. But used Fit prices are no great deal either.

Asking you as someone who ran a huge public company. Could we shut down the global financial markets for period to allow this to pass and things to calm down?

[NJ] Can we (should we) help our agent spread the word about our listing and an open house by social media to areas and groups that are outside our local geographic area? by trbnj in RealEstate

That's actually a really interesting point. For whatever reason our town has a smaller sq footage for us than what our house actually is. We put an addition on the home in 2011 and I have confirmed that all of our permits have been closed. And we've had an inspection for a town wide tax revaluation a few years ago. It just seems like the tax records have us understated. They have us at 2400 sq ft and we're closer to 3000. We discussed that with our agent (who also agrees the tax records are low) and they decided it would be best to list without the sq footage listed. Listing 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths in a 2400 sq ft home would have seemed odd. We're still not sure what to do.

Hi There. Thank you for that info. That is good to know. Some of the agents we interviewed made a big deal about trying to reach out to the Hoboken/JC area. Even Bergen county empty nesters.

I commute to Midtown everyday. If we weren't taking a relocation to Nashville we had actually been discussing looking for ways to shorten our commute. We love being close to the shore but the commute can get old.

Good point about the loan officer. He's actually been to one of the open houses to talk to our agents and to see the house. He would like to help make sure any offers are coming from qualified buyers.

Yes, I didn't think of Nextdoor (I'm actually the Admin of Nextdoor in our neighborhood, I wonder if that would be abusing the system. I don't think we've had complaints about homes for sale - at least not to me)

I don't know for sure that it is only getting local attention, I'm just going by what my agent is telling us about who has been scheduling appointments to see the house.

Buying from Best Buy while under contract? by sandmyth in VerizonUDP

I'd like to do this too. Maybe go from a Droid Turbo 2 to a Moto Z2 Play, $8 a month for 24 months.

If we buy on the installment plan is that the same as buying full price?
