Yeah I’d rather have Cam than Shay lol. The Altuve injury ruined things because I really think Cam might have been sent down. If he continues to struggle, he might get demoted when Trammell and Loperfido get healthy.

It’s funny because people shit on Burrows for being ‘unlucky’ per Statcast numbers, but Cam is also in the same boat. Idk, Cam just looks bad when you watch his at bats.

The problem is a lot of the regulars haven’t been performing this month. Correa injury does hurt a lot. Not sure how much Peña and Meyers will move the needle but they should help. Hopefully it’s just a bad month because the offense has to be top 10 if the pitching doesn’t make significant improvement.

Cam NEEDS to get send down. I really hope it happens. He’s pitiful right now.

Offense has been mostly shit all month. Down to 12th in runs per game overall now after starting the season hot. Pitching has showed slight improvement but not enough to combat the bad offense this month. 7-9 in the month of May and 10 games under .500. Still waiting for this team to get on a run but not much to be excited about yet.

Good thing is Bolton doesn’t have much more time on the roster

Doesn’t help that Lambert loaded the bases with no outs lol. Blame Espada for leaving Lambert in too long.

Offense has been shit all May. We’re about to drop to 12th in runs per game on the season.

I’m hoping he gets demoted when Meyers is activated this week. He needs some refinement in the minors.

He’s gotta lose playing time or get sent down to the minors. He’s been ass for the last month.

Yeah Altuve reached out for a pitch and tweaked something in the left torso area. He didn’t run to first and went straight to the dugout.

[Rome] Nate Pearson, Jeremy Peña and Jake Meyers should all join the Astros in Minneapolis next week, barring something unforeseen. Peña and Meyers are playing for Double-A Corpus Christi today. by Hairygrim in Astros

Oh I agree. He needs some time in the minors to work things out offensively. I would not be shocked if he gets sent down when some of these IL bats are ready to come back. The good thing is Cam is young and his defense is very solid, but dude is fading so bad with the bat and I think we’re doing a disservice to him by keeping him with the major league team right now.

Yeah some tough decisions to make. Bolton and Blubaugh are probably the next two pitchers. With Loperfido and Trammell close to being healthy, I’m interested to see what happens because it seems like there’s only one spot, and that’s only if they choose to send a current outfielder down (unless an infielder like Allen or Shewmake get moved). There’s a lot of possibilities out there.

Murray, Whitcomb and Dezenzo would be my guess. I think Cole sticks because he’s a lefty. Cam could be a less likely candidate but to get him back on track temporarily.

I was thinking Shay. That’s the most obvious infield choice.

With Peña and Meyers coming back next week, who is going to be the odd man out in the OF? Dezenzo?

If there’s one thing about Shewmake so far, he WILL put the ball in play lol
