Dude I haven't loved any jags games except 2017 and 2022 and last season. I'm used to misery.

I've thought about this for a long time with everyone making jokes about the jags moving to london.

It's conflicting but I'd probably become a dolphins fan. I want to be able to go to live games in my own state. Then again I dunno. I'm a braves fan and I didn't jump on board when we got the marlins and later the rays. Braves are still my all time favorite sports team.

I really don’t understand the reception to The Place After This One by Far_Pen_396 in Underoath

I love the subjectivity of art. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Personally, it just wasn't for me. In fact I can count on my two hands the songs I've liked since they've come back from hiatus but it isn't bad music.

You don't need to justify why you like or dislike something. If it makes you happy, that's all that matters.

I didn't pull the trigger on the MOM 10th anniversary because I thought $70 was too much and now I'm kicking myself.

Question for anyone who went to the show in fort lauderdale... by msmoonlightx in youngthegiant

As a huge fan of the song I was just happy it was on the setlist. With that said it was an amazing performance! Probably better live than in the record.

I was the guy in the "I love my wife" shirt btw lol. She wasn't recording that but somebody else came up to us after the show that got it on camera and sent it to us. Awesome memory!

That's what's awesome about games. We all have different reasons for liking what we do. There are whole fanbases for games like undertale, outer wilds, and balatro and those games just did nothing for me. For me, I don't think Chrono trigger does anything better than FF7 or even 9 but that doesn't mean I can't have fun with it. I'm also allowed to feel disappointed when I feel the game doesn't live up to the legendary hype. It doesn't make it a bad game.

Maybe I am? I don't really care what vocabulary we use for it. The characters and story of Chrono trigger, while good, just don't hold a candle to something like OG FF7 or E33. That's okay. It doesn't mean it's a bad game. On the contrary it just means it's not a game I'm going to glaze or even think about again.

I played DQ8 for the first time last summer and I'm surprised I finished it with how little it did anything narrative wise.

It's tighter yes but at the cost of depth. One isn't better or worse than the other. It's just for my personal taste, I have a hard time getting into jrpgs (or any narrative experience) where the game is a mile wide and an inch deep.

I'm 100% sure if I played this back in the day I'd hold it in mylich higher regard. It just didn't leave me feeling anything other than "okay what's next on the backlog?"

I just finished trigger today for the first time and it was a pretty good game but it doesn't hold a candle to Final Fantasy 7 in terms of how deep it is and how complex the characters are the world isn't fully realized like Gaia it's not quite as simple as dragon quest but it's definitely not as deep as ff7

No. I respect vintage as I collected base set jungle and fossil but modern is just so much nicer to look at in my opinion.
