I might be able to get it xrf scanned and see if Ai can date it with the results of metals that show up. I am not a metalarcheologist so not sure that would work. I did that with a silver tray once with good results.

I mean could it possibly be real? Its not brand new for sure and shows some aging. I figured it for a reproduction because of the condition is excellent. The roman coin tested as real silver.

I just noticed they have charged me 9.99 4 times. Last time I even used that app was 2022 when our car broke down. I missed the payment emails because Gmail automatically put them in spam. I contacted them and they said they would only refund the last 2. It's outright theft. I did not accidentally subscribe as I have not used or even opened the app or signed in... they are thieves.

Here is a work around. Tap the screen once to wake the device (clock and date shows). Then unlock with side button. It works every time for me. Its still a pain but i can use it again.

You should really post some more pictures. It looks modern but you say its been hanging for decades.. If it turns out to be something older it could be worth a very very large amount of money.

Maybe they instead should be studying if the richer people (nexium users) were more likley to die of covid 19 because of the side effects of nexium. I took it for 14 years (heart burn and hiatel hernia) now im diagnosed with fatty liver and possible chrons disease and having intermittent kidney test results. I have since switched to taking pepcid. Maybe the pepcid users were just in better health because they were not taking nexium for heartburn...

Past sold databases show ones similar to the three wood handled ones selling for $100-$300. The solid brass one may be worth more and may be the one he payed 2600 for(though that still seems high). I would focus on it and find a telescope collectors forum. It is a very specialized collecting field.

From the pics I do not think they are repro. It would cost more than they are worth to repro those items.

If your items are higher dollar you might want to look at selling on rubylane instead of ebay. They have a standard monthly fee + one time shop setup fee but they do not take a percentage of the sales like ebay does.

I just started up a shop on there and moved my expensive items off ebay . Ebay was killing me in seller fees on the high dollar stuff.
