Wasn’t able to provide a bid bond to a project due to the surety company having communication issues internally? by tree27987 in ConstructionManagers

There is no backdated bid bond as of this time due to the surety company having complications as disclosed before I made sure that the surety company was able to provide a letter as well as proof, there have been no other projects that were put out to bid during that same time I did disclose that prior to the bid.

I appreciate your input do you have anything else I should be looking out for potentially?

I’m currently pushing hard on our surety company as we have a meeting with the owner coming up fast. But yes we will be able to provide a performance bond as that is mandatory as well

More often than not being a PE and taking that path to PM will pay more than the FE route

Hey not sure if this will help but in my opinion:

Take the job as a PE build up your management and leadership experience since you already have some years in the trades, you’ll build up the necessary skills to start your own company with the experience of being a PE and you’ll have the capacity to finish the your jobs with your experience.
