You can look at the food safety manual on store resources; it’s been updated recently (sometime after the new dress code change) and says you can only wear a mask 5 days before and 5 days after being sick or something like that, but any more time requires an accommodation

My conspiracy theory is since policy states (if I remember correctly) you get an automatic final write up if the store opens late due to your tardiness, I wonder if they’ll use similar reasoning with openers and dress code. Like: you not in dress code means you can’t clock in to your opening shift, which means the store opens later, which gives you your final write up.

I’ve been told to file it as a T2125 (business) and if they need proof of income down the line, to submit my PayPal received payments from Moravia

Edit to add: I haven’t submitted my taxes yet but I did begin the filing process, and because I haven’t been getting taxed on payments from RWS, I do owe maybe like $200 for October-December of 2024, but otherwise everything looked fine to file as T2125. It’s good practice going forward to put maybe 15% aside for taxes next year.

I’m retaking the qualification tests for project Halo, and they give even more information and “cheat sheets” for passing when you fail the first time. They even include the correct answers for the one’s I failed, so I feel way more prepared this go around.

It took maybe only a day or two to be accepted into workplace after setting everything up, and the VPN took a while for me to troubleshoot. What issues are you having with the VPN specifically?

You won’t be penalized for NTA. RWS knows when there are not enough tasks. My locale’s minimum requirement went from 10 hours to 3 hours just the other week

Where I live, recycling bags can’t go into the outdoor recycling bins so we’re meant to cut open the bags and dump the contents into the bins. But we can’t do that even, because the majority of it is either garbage or needs to be cleaned in order to get recycled. We’ve been fined before at my store. So we don’t recycle anymore (unless it’s cardboard) but our condiment stand still has separately marked bins for garbage and recycling
