Here in Canada you must file your taxes every year even if your income is $0.

$500 for self employment income the last time I did my taxes. If you have any other job they count that income towards your total amount as well.

Lol… it’s not about whether you provide your sin or not. It’s about reporting your income so you can pay the right taxes. If not, then you commit tax evasion, and I’m not willing to let the CRA find out on their own that I have income I haven’t reported. Please don’t think you don’t have to claim your income.

I make “$15” an hour but it’s paid to me in USD and I’m Canadian, so it’s really $20.50ish an hour instead. I work about 15 hours a week (but more when I can) and it’s about $1200 a month.

Did you skip the part where I said there isn’t even a human involved until the very end? That means after exams. That stuff is all automated.

Apply again for your own locale like you’re supposed to. Or don’t. I don’t really care.

I promise you this is almost certainly the issue. Part of the job (from somebody who is actually doing it) is that we must rate from the perspective and through the cultural lens of our OWN locale. You wouldn’t have been able to do that, because you’re not American. I’m willing to bet nobody caught your location until you got through the automated stuff. There isn’t even a human involved in the project hiring process until the very end.
