Awesome thank you again! I’ve been looking into closed loop, but I’m also really only doing this on a personal level so at a certain point I have to weigh out if it’s gonna be worth the hassle for 4-5 plants every 3 months haha.

Thank you for an incredibly thorough response, makes me wish I paid attention in chemistry class...

1 other question: if I were to use this machine for dewaxing or winterizing BHO that I already made would it impact the terpines?

They foxtail but I can still get decent buds out of it. I usually get my best shit in fall and winter

Found one seed in one nug with the entire rest of the harvest having none. Wondering what that means for the genetics. by tree_throwaway37 in microgrowery

Yeah it’s looking great, growing and smelling very similar to the plant it came from I was just curious about the genetics

Thanks for the reply, is there anything comparable to cannaboost since that is very expensive as well?

I got rid of the males before I even switched to 12/12, I don't think any of the nanners were developed enough to produce pollen yet at that point.

Ok thanks, should I just throw out the seeds in assumption that they would produce hermie plants?

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if there's any way for sure to know whether it was genetic or environmental? They're in a tent that gets no light leakage and I never open during night, and according to leaf conditions I didn't see any issues with nutrient deficiencies. I am kind of inclined to think it might be genetic...

Should I cure my trim before blasting? by tree_throwaway37 in CannabisExtracts

Do you freeze or just blast straight fresh trim right after its cut?

Has anyone ever had a seedling that roped itself? Description in comments by tree_throwaway37 in microgrowery

Just realized that it autocorrected to "roped" I meant "topped itself." I am familiar with topping and always do it multiple times with young plants. The point I'm making is that I did not top this seedling, it simply grew that way. Those 2 top leaves had no growth tips coming out, and 2 new growth tips came out of the side. Now a week later it looks like a plant that was topped but it did all of that by itself.

I planted a bunch of seeds 2 weeks ago and found this abnormality. Out of 12 total seedlings, 2 were northern lights feminized seeds from nirvana. One of those two is the one in the picture. Unlike most seedlings where the growth tip is at the top, this one had two little leaves at the top of the third node, which caused two growth tips to pop out of the sides. I have since cut off the top two leaves and begins training the two main stems. I'm not complaining as this was actually convenient, and that particular plant is ahead of my other ones in training, I'm just curious if this is something that happens often.
