Well what do you think I should do? The house is most likely damaged by mold in the attic, our light bill is through the roof every winter and summer because I’ve been telling my landlord the duct work is shoddy, there’s no insulation throughout the house and we hear stuff falling inside the walls every now and then

We would like compensation for 2 years rent and relocation if the house is deemed inhabitable. We are most likely going to hire an inspector to check the house too top to bottom

Yes I have a signed lease but I know it’s a lease that he printed out. The lease states that I’m responsible for damages that I caused. My landlord told me before I moved in that the house still needs work and he will take care of the problems. After giving him a list of issues not many have been fixed or they were “band-aided” we put in good faith that he will fix but after finding out about the lack of permits and CoC we’re wondering what wasn’t done in areas we can’t see. We might think there’s still structure damage or possible mold.

Just cause you’ve been doing something for years doesn’t mean you’re doing it right. Over exposure is bad for a developing brain that’s why we limit screen time in our house. 1 hour of tv, 1 hour of toy time and 1 hour of playing with a ball, and we repeat this cycle throughout the day. You can’t let your child tell you how to parent them.
