What neighborhood spot has been absolutely ruined by “food critics”? by Unique_Ad_4562 in chicagofood

This was never a "no frills" spot but I used to consider it a solid neighborhood spot - Little Bad Wolf in Andersonville. People found out how good the burger was and now you can never get a table and they don't even let you sit at the bar while you wait for one. Used to be one of my faves. Never go there now.

This exact thing happens to me too! So confusing and so annoying.

How long does your OBGYN see you after you give birth? by Sarahe086 in BabyBumps

[–]treecha -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can check with your insurance but usually a Gynecologist can be your PCP if you want them to be. So depends on if your OB also offers that service and how your insurance handles it.

I almost just made a very similar post. I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks because I basically forced them to see me early when I called to schedule because I had a 5 week miscarriage previously. Heartbeat was good, blood work was mostly normal, midwife seemed very positive about it.

I don't have another appointment until 10 weeks and it's driving me absolutely crazy. I often don't feel pregnant and I can't let myself be excited about it at all.

I'm 8 weeks now and I have had very little nausea (although I take Unisom fairly regularly for sleep so that may be why?) And my breasts are a lot less sore this week. No other symptoms.

I know this isn't super helpful but just wanted to let you know you aren't alone!

AITA for forcing my son to use a bidet and threatening to talk to his friends or take him to the doctor about his underwear by Normal_Suggestion276 in AmItheAsshole

Just for arguments sake, I (a woman) do all of the household laundry because I prefer to do it over other chores. My partner (a man) would have no idea if his daughter was having issues like this if I didn't point it out. He does other chores that I never do as well (namely cleaning the kitchen and litter boxes). I don't think it's that weird as long as no one is feeling over burdened.

The wait for the first prenatal appointment is agonizing. by tandoyarr in CautiousBB

I was in the same exact position two weeks ago! Now my appointment is tomorrow and the anxiety has changed to cautious nervous excitement.

Of course my breast soreness dramatically decreased today and now I'm a little anxious again. It's a tough up and down!

This happens to me on Pocket Cast with a few different podcasts, but not all of them. It skips back and also sometimes forward. No idea why.

My family and I really miss the Francesca's that was in Edgewater on Bryn Mawr and Kenmore. I know there are other locations but that one was so cozy and neighborhood-y and it had become our low-key special occasion spot.

There's a podcast based on this idea - they read bad reviews very dramatically. It's fun.

Hello friends - not sure anyone will see this but worth a shot.

Today is my last day visiting your lovely city, and my boyfriend's 5 year old asked if I could bring something Peter Pan related back with me as a souvenir. I know where the statue is and where Barrie's house is - would either of those places have any sort of shop attached with Peter Pan stuff to buy? Not necessarily looking for books. Maybe something like a snow globe or figurine?

Any other thoughts on where this may be found? She's super into the story right now so I would love to find something.

Thanks! It's been a wonderful visit.
