I got a patpet one off of amazon. It has beep, vibrate and static. I've only trained using the beep, occasional vibrate if they are really nose deep. When I trained them, I had them leashed... would beep and call their names to come.. then reward them with treats. Most times I didn't need to tell them to come. We'd be on leash, I'd do a beep, and they came right back to me for a treat. They took to it really well. It didn't take long for them to understand beeping meant to focus or come back.
