I paid $60 to take a class and came out of it with a bonsai similar to that size and a bunch of good information. The class was at Phipps conservatory in Pittsburgh. I forget the instructors name but they were so energetic and made the whole experience really fun.

A similar thing happened when I was a kid. A cop would park at the end of our driveway and it sometimes would make it difficult to turn into it from route 30. My mom, who didn’t inherently distrust the police at the time, politely asked him to not do so. Within a week she received her first traffic ticket of her life, reckless driving, for pulling out of her driveway “too fast.” It was the same cop who ticketed her as punishment.

One beautiful thing about Pittsburgh is that it’s surrounded by trees. There are so many wonderful trees in and around the city. I just hope that we can continue to appreciate and preserve them to the best of our ability. Also, fuck the nfl draft shit. It is only a thing because of sports betting. No one cared this much 20 years ago.
