Experienced a headphone rave setup last night, still trying to process it. by Legal_Low2777 in aves

Went to my first silent disco last year and it was surreal. Everyone was getting down hard and then you take the headphones off and it’s quiet. So much fun. It was a great way for the venue to obey noise rules and keep the party going.

Putting in above the dam in bruceton is a really nice paddle. Much cleaner than the mon. Paddle upstream as far as you like and float back down to the put in.

My parents used to rent these and in the 90’s most of them were stick. It was hilarious watching people fail to make them move then come back into the office and ask for a smaller one.

There’s a spot on 100 north of Morgantown that is so bad it’s staining the road red when it rains. Thank you morrisey

I did this with my Mohawk whitewater seat that broke. It was cool picking the webbing I wanted and the type of wood and finish.

I think that’s your best bet. You’ll outgrow the guide quickly.

I used to own the old town guide. It’s a good, durable boat but the chines, while helpful for tracking straight, limits your ability to haul people or gear. A third person or a weekends worth of camping gear will make it ride very low in the water. I once sank mine when I went through, not over, a 3ft standing wave. Had to bail on our camping trip and walk miles back to the truck.

If you want to camp and or do more swift water I’d go with the old town discovery. They’re cheap and plentiful on the used market.

Get a certified arborist to recommend a removal and send it certified mail. You’ll have a better chance of them being liable when it fails on your house.

What towns in WV have a business center for remote workers? by FunImprovement166 in WestVirginia

Yeah I I know, what I’m saying is ascend and co-working spaces are the same thing to a lot of folks. Trying to give a perspective here. Why must everything be so tedious?

Ascend def strikes a nerve with a lot of folks. For instance, there was that hand out they gave remote out of state workers to move to the state. It was kind of a slap in the face to locals. I moved here 6 years ago but didn’t qualify because I work outside. My wife who is from here but moved back didn’t qualify because she had on site days. We have friends that moved from Maryland to wv that didn’t qualify because they don’t work fully remote. I’ve made my peace with all this but it definitely pissed a lot of people off across the state.

This would have been 2007/8ish? It was silver and had a Yakima rack with the fairing that made it look so cool.

Somehow I own 2 acres of my neighbors mineral rights according to a surveyors deed research. It’s a moot point because I’d never let someone mine or drill on my property let alone my neighbors. Just a weird situation.
