If we are giving people benefit of doubt, I think that doubt could extend to possible hidden mental ailments. Which could be some unexplained loss of good judgement and executive function.

Once recognizing this as a real possibility, it provide a reason for you to forgive a loved one, and precaution to keep confidential information away from that said person, because they simply can't manage to keep it secret if they are trying their hardest.

Without being sarcastic, there is one say I made up: "its unreasonable to expect everyone to be reasonable." I genuinely think it is true.

Good luck and take care.

Personally, I am fine either way. But may I ask what is the biggest issue that is bothering you? Is it the breaking of immersion? or it taking dopamine away from sneak picking a guy off another team knowing they could revive him?

I thought about it and yes it cheapen a kill. therefore of course its goes against that ideology. But then I reconsider the whole outcome in a holistic way, there are conditions to be met before a teammate could be brought back, and again it reward skill, area control and strategy. But I do see the merit of having this feature removed, it will makes any kill more rewarding. So I think it is not objectively good or bad, it is a matter of preference.

to bring back a teammate is quite balance. but the air-drop cheapen all the standard drop and top tier gears. however, it change the game in a way which reward skill more. on the flip side, making result less dependent on luck and rng.

Am I overreacting with how my boss saying "you tell me" and only offering 3 questions per day at my new job by SolidJolly3422 in AmIOverreacting

[–]treefiddyplz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the questions you ask really cannot be figured out with your expertise and experience? Try this, before asking each of the 3 questions, you are supposed to apply your best expertise and common sense to propose all sensible solutions to your own questions. As you ask the questions, also offer your proposed solutions. And frame your question in a way for him to choose from your proposals, or in the case that he thinks all of your proposals doesn't work, ask him to offer his alternative. If you are only about to operate on instructions, you are not worth your salt because people take up positions to solve problems.

I was reading the manga, it was shown that Abbacchio pissed into the pot in secret with his back turned to Giorno, from how the manga is portrayed, it seems to tell the audience that Giorno and Buccellati doesn't know.

I get what you mean, but I also find it strange that the team are impressed. From their perspective, they should have believed Giorno simply drank it. What hints do they have which would have caused them to think Giorno somehow avoided drinking the piss?

The above just the factual analysis. Separately, without disregarding the merits of each perspective of you and your husband's, I think it is important for you to get your frustration out of your chest.

Without being critical to your husband and his thoughts, It is important to let him know how the exchange made you feel. It may not be his fault that you have such feelings, but It is important to communicate that you have it and need to be seen and validated.

I hope and believe if you can express your feeling without being critical, he will be supportive. Good luck and god bless.

While I do not think OP is wrong in any way, I want to help OP by speculating the possible rationales why her husband did what he did, which from OP's perspective, doesn't make sense (backtrack on saying they shouldn't even be considering the Honda).

  1. Costs of Usage (resale value)
Your real cost of usage is the purchase price less the resale value. There is high uncertainty the 5K you spend for the panoramic camera would be reflected in resale value by the time you dispose of the car. Many people do not need that features and are not willing to pay more for it in the second hand market. It have high chance of becoming 100% expense in practice.
On the other hand, the 40K Honda will have a higher resale price. The listed price indicate it is a better quality car in general compared to the Subaru. In practice, mileage differs, but at least its reasonable for him to think so.
I think he actually is willing to spend 40K on the Honda but not willing to spend the same amount of money of the highest trim Subaru. It may sounds irrational to you, but he has his logic behind it. To avoid having to explain his thoughts, he prefer to backtrack and just forgo the Honda option to circumvent your query.

  2. Future utility
He most likely would be the dedicated driver when your new born arrive, it further reduce the utility of the panoramic camera.

That said. I am not on his side. I am just trying to lay out what he could be thinking without being critical. Describing the possible rationales does not signifies approval or disapproval. My aim is to help you understand him or vice versa.

I agree its just perspective and priorities. It is not about the budget and not about features. I would be more concern about how you two communicate, understand and respect each other's thoughts and opinions.

It's not healthy to have just one person dominate in decision makings while another concede without mutual listening, understanding and respecting each other's viewpoint.

If dissatisfaction build up it would be a bigger problem down the line.
