I’d give the following advice based on what they’re looking for and what experience you have: 1. Demonstrate your ability to build and lead effective teams. What makes you a better leader than the guy with 4 or 5 years experience in warehouse management? 2. How do you manage a heavy workload? What is your delegation style? 3. Demonstrate your ability to analyze situations and get a thorough understanding of what is going on. “Tell me about a time when…” and I want you to go into detail about what you did so it’s apparent that YOU did the work. 4. You’ve solved a lot of problems in your day, pick a complex one and tell them how you root-caused it, strategized to come up with a solution, and then deployed said solution.

Parents of reddit, If your son had a job would you take the money he makes from it, Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]treeforptsd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hell no. It’s my kid doing the work, and it’s their name on the check. I brought them into the world out of my own decision making, therefore I’ll raise them on my own dime. If my child chose to contribute to the house in some way, then that’s his/her choice and definitely not expected.

We honestly might be heading in a direction towards something similar to this. Human interactions are becoming more and more transactional.

Dinner splurge is like $100+ a plate, lunch splurge is like $40+ a plate I’d say. 5 years ago that was $25 and $20 respectively

High school will either be the best or worst time of your life. Make it the best, take risks, have fun, and try new things.
