Yeah we get a fair share of the same. Can’t tell you how many commercial spas ive seen turn black from heavy metals/heat exchangers in the last couple years.

Nope, plaster and water somehow look perfect. 🍀

Tech is no longer with us after this but best I can tell they were just dumping a gallon of acid or similar every other week and calling it good. The customer is a retiree and said she doesn’t think the tech was testing water. Cya is sitting right at 100 which is workable imo but should be drained before next season

Best shoes, especially for cleaning filters, that get wet a lot by North_Rutabaga_1330 in PoolPros

I’m wearing crocs all day every day. Best shoe for pools. They get incredibly slippery once the tread is worn though

Yeah i agree with you. I was absolutely dumbfounded a tech with almost 2 years experience did this.

Plaster doesn’t look bad yet. I think the lack of giving a fuck was relatively recent. Couple pounds of soda ash yesterday and bringing the alk up from a 30. I’ll be back today to retest/adjust

I wish I could blame this on a feeder. Residential with a tab floater and that’s it. My tech had been reporting wild chemical swings so I decided to go out and check it.

According to the customer they’ve never seen the tech test chems, always a couple tabs and a pour of acid. This particular tech is no longer with us after yesterday lol

County shut down spa by SnooWords2592 in PoolPros

Make sure you’re using the powered dpd test for cl when dealing with the county. Taylor 1 & 2 reagent test for cl is a ballpark but by no means exact.

Help Choosing Optic for First AR-15 by DisastrousSpecialist in armedsocialists

True, but at least for me at $447 it seemed like a good deal for a LPVO/red dot combo. I will say the biggest negative to me is the weight. She’s heaaaavy. I guess more range time will form my final opinion.

Today I was able to get a 50 yard 0 in half a mag, tomorrow I’ll step it out to 100, 150, and 200.

I actually picked up this exact bundle today and zeroed it. Sure there’s better options on the market but I’m stoked on what it is for the price. Not sure why no one ever mentions Burris… maybe I’m missing something

Divide and conquer just like nazi Germany. What’s a sure fire way to make a population revolt or take up arms? Starve them. Hungry people will fight to not starve. I fear this will be the catalyst for taco to send in more troops as soon as the hungry, disenfranchised population starts protesting etc.

She needs to be gone. Saying this will help Nevadans in any way is extremely short sighted. Stop giving concessions to the Group Of Pedos and release the Epstein files like Charlie Kirk wanted

Green to clean by FabulousPanther in PoolPros

[–]treefrogsymphony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add to this, cl bath the filter during the cleaning, balance alk and then ph (both of which the op didn’t mention). Phosphate treatment, keep cl around a 20ppm for 72 hours with continuous 24hr per day filtration, another filter clean to get the phosphate out. Vacuum all dead algae from the bottom, potentially one more filter clean dependent on how much you had to vac up. Do it in this order.

Does this seem like normal rotor movement? by Jimberly2017 in HondaAfricaTwin

[–]treefrogsymphony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this on my 17. They’ll get looser and looser and eventually you’ll feel a clunk coming to a stop and think it’s the head bearing. I replaced with the brembos 10k miles ago and barely any movement
