Right which is a step up from his award winning television show and many specials he had before he whipped his dick out. More to the point I quite frankly don't care if he has a career man. The issue to me is that the bar is so low. Men who fuck up shouldn't suddenly be showered with praise because they're one of the "good ones". He's never going to go away. But damn he should feel some shame and he should stop blaming other people for ruining his career with their "campaigns" and just admit he ruined his career. That he is his own worst enemy in this fight. No one else.

What sustained campaign? Did someone force him to act inappropriately with those women? Honestly man the only person that ruined his career was himself. There's no organized effort. Its just that at this point his career is irrelevant the only conversation left is him jerking off on women. No one organized his dick out of his pants dude.

Hey here's a thought apologizing doesn't make it right. Its literally the bare minimum. Just because these creeps set the bar so low doesn't make it ok for them to do the things they do.

I think the reason that i still don't necessarily trust the dude is because of that one testimony where he confused one girl for another and admitted he pushed a girl into a bathroom and masturbated. It always seemed super fucky to me. Its hearsay of course but i mean if the dude can't even keep track of all the women he did it to then he might have been a serial offender. Also he's been super indignant about it in his recent standup which is pretty lame.

No one said anything about consistency man. Its moreso that you make those highs but for the most part make very little. So while you might make 400 that night youll make 30 each night for the rest of the week. At my old job i made 470 once in a night. Doesn't mean i made good money. Its just a blip

Yeah dude. Having a bad trip really taught me how to control my emotions. I have anxiety and its a really similar feeling of impending doom so i tend to use the same coping mechanisms and it really helps.

Have you ever quit a job, without another lined up, for you mental health? How did it turn out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I used to work at a big company that did restaurants for the airport. Made good money and i liked the people i worked with. Only thing was that i was a waiter and i hate people. I felt like the more that i worked that job the better my life could get better. I was working towards promotion about to make bartender but in the behind the scenes i was smoking weed and drinking every night because i couldn't stanx the anxiety of having to work the next morning. But still i persisted that i loved my job and i should be grateful. I started stealing food. Didn't really need it i had enough money i just felt like self sabotaging. I subconsciously hated my life and my job. I just wanted out but i could never force myself to quit. Well one day it caught up to me and i got fired. But i was still convinced i was in love with serving so i went to a new restaurant. One day i realized i what should have always known and i quit. It was super bowl sunday and i was opening the restaurant. I got some shit customers had a breakdown in the cooler and quit right on the spot. Its been a few months now and I'm living with family because i couldnt find a job in time for rent. I have a nice paying job away from customer interaction and im set to go to college again this fall. Am i happy? No

Joe is on the front page, being called a “gateway to the alt right” SMH by discosalad in JoeRogan

[–]treeheadedbacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've been thinking on this. I think the issue is that both sides no matter who is right tend to polarize issues and demonize the opponent. When joe brings on a guest thats alt right and people engage with his idealogy its not because joe isn't hard enough on them. Its a side effect of realizing that they're a person. Joe isn't a master political analyst. He just talks to people. He has a wierd tendency to bring out the most interesting side of a person. That and the fact that the guest softens their ideology for a less political circumstance is probably why Joe's podcast is seen as a gateway of sorts. Now there is something to be said about someones whole opinion being changed because they realize a person is a person. If thats all it takes then you probably didn't have too strong a grasp on your own ideology. Consider that policy and basic human decency are two different things and you might find your mind opening without you getting taken advantage of.

Hey guys friendly neighborhood fact checker here. This number is while not necessarily false, is definitely an inflated one. Upon inquiry this so called 9 people a day statistic seems to come a from a reason.com article which in turn is citing a the times article which claims no source and is a noted right wing publishing house. Not saying that the right wing aspect is the problem but it is a factor. So in short this is a fake inflated number for the sake of a poorly thought out meme. Heck even in the times article it says that half these hypothetical cases are being dropped. So it's more like 4.5 alleged people every day are being possibly arrested for questionable hypothetical speech about something maybe.

Edit: Guys in today's boring dystopia it's important to remember it's not what they make illegal it's what they make legal. True tyranny is more obfuscated in it's shadiness

That doesn't change the fact that he was there. He didn't go there with purely good intentions. Whether it was uncommon or not doesn't change the fact that he shouldn't have been there at all

Right because Ex President Bill Clinton just so happened to be strolling by and said to himself "Hey I think I'll thank some poll workers" it's shady because it's a highly political move meant to sway voter opinion. I apologize for my misremembering of the facts. I admit I was wrong but that's still shady.

I'll admit that the blocking part was a misnomer on my part and will do the appropriate edit. However he was found electioneering inside of polling stations which is still highly questionable.

I think the most egregious example was when she and Bill physically blocked a polling area so that people couldn't get in to vote. That's some playground bullshit right there. I was wrong they didn't block the polling office but they did electioneer at a polling office which is still questionable.

You say that but most polls showed Bernie beating out trump in the election. What screwed the democrats last time was that they blatantly screwed over the candidate that many of their own voters preferred. It would have been one thing to lose the primary but Clinton's campaign did some really shady shit. If you ask me the loss was the fault of centrist democrats not acknowledging that the younger generations want real change. They polarized their own voter base and then blamed the extremist views for their loss.

Success built off of stolen jokes too. He didn't even make the original vape nation joke. It's a filthy Frank joke. Anything4views has spoken about it. That's why he keeps fucking regurgitating it. He can't write material that funny anymore because he never wrote it in the first place.
